Als ich das Hotel gebucht hatte, rief mich wenige Minuten sp?ter Sampa Wayo an, wann wir kommen. Tats?chlich holte er uns auf die Minute genau am Busbahnhof ab. Er nahm sich auch Zeit uns in ein günstiges, aber sehr gutes Restaurant zu führen. Das Hotel liegt sehr abgelegen, ist daher sehr sicher und bietet eine tolle Aussicht. Es ist leicht ein Tuk-Tuk zu bestellen und für 230 Rupien in das Zentrum zu fahren. Unser Zimmer hatte eine Klimaanlage, einen Ventilator und ein angenehmes Badezimmer. Obwohl kein Frühstück angeboten wird, bekamen wir für 600 pro Person am n?chsten Morgen etwas zu essen. Insbesondere Sampa Wayo kümmerte sich um alles und las uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen an. Selbstverst?ndlich organisierte er am n?chsten Tag unseren Ausflug. Die Gastfreundschaft ist kaum zu übertreffen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. In Sri Lanka ist nicht immer alles perfekt. Man kann einfach freundlich fragen und das Personal versucht eine L?sung zu finden. Schade, dass wir nur zwei N?chte bleiben konnten.

Just a couples of minutes walk from ferry terminal and you will find paradise. Thanks for the great price, be nice to the cat who loves to hangout with guest and watch TV ??

The toilet looks a bit old and room is small. The room is at 2nd floor with no lifts and poor corridor lightings. The location is good with Gama Supermarket within a hundred meter.

We had a fantastic time at the White House Hotel! The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and made our stay truly memorable. The food was delicious, with lots of options and generous portions. The hotel could use some renovations, but the amazing staff more than made up for it. Big thanks to everyone working so hard we’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to others!

A little gem in the heart of the town. It is so closed to everything. The room was bright and spotless. Despite in the heart of everything, we hardly hear any noise from the neighborhood. There are lots of eateries and a big shopping mall just at the back of the hotel. The service was good as well. There is nothing to complain about given it good value for money!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is a throwback to another era and you can easily imagine what this place was like back in the day. It was good value for money. Highly recommend staying here. - Staff were incredibly friendly and would do anything to help us. - Breakfast was so lovely - fresh juice, variety of egg options; variety of fruits, tea and coffee- with attentive service. We felt like royalty! - Pool was clean and looked lovely although a little cool for us to swim but a lovely escape from the heat - Room was spacious with kettle and small fridge; bed was massive and very comfy; aircon worked well - Shower was hot and had fab pressure. My room had a spa bath but I didn’t use it. - Walking distance to a few different restaurants and the lake with a sunset view.

Beautiful rooms, artisan craftsman designed, each one unique and fascinating. We stayed in the "Circle Room", amazing beds in a circular structure hand made and built inside the room. The "Peacock Room" was equally as stunning. The staff were more than helpful and the manager, Rajitha, was always concerned for our welfare, gave us lots of good advice about the city, places to see and a detailed description of the different religions in Sri Lanka. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend the hotel and its staff. A unique jewel in Sri Lanka's crown.

This is truly one of the best places to stay in the heart of Anuradhapura’s ancient city. Without a doubt, their service is top-notch, which is why we choose this hotel every time we visit Anuradhapura. Hats off to the staff for their excellent efforts in making our stay comfortable. The castle concept is especially appealing to kids, and they absolutely love it. The swimming pool arrangements are lovely, although some floor tiles are broken, which could potentially cause minor injuries. This time, I would like to bring a few issues to the attention of the management. We booked three rooms, including two VIP family suites. Unfortunately, none of the TVs were working, and the air conditioner in one room was not controllable. Additionally, the showers are outdated, and the jacuzzis are not functioning properly. The swimming pool washrooms and changing rooms also need improvement. Despite these shortcomings, our stay was comfortable, thanks to the friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and unique atmosphere.
