房間有小冰箱 酒店不讓穿自己的鞋上樓 要換成他們的拖鞋上去 沒有電梯 箱子要自己搬到樓上 前臺印度哥不會説中文但是有中文指示牌 按金可以用人民幣 周圍有吃飯的地方 酒店后面有板球場 但是非凡国际房間在另一邊所以沒受影響 附近的福建麪好吃

Thirteen of us travelling to Anuradhapura stayed for two nights on 21st and 22nd November 2025 at Hotel White House located on a main road. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink and guided to our rooms each uniquely named. We were assigned room "Kingsbury" on the third floor accessible by elevator. The airconditioned room featured two freshly made beds and a clean bathroom with fresh towels. However, privacy was limited as the far side of the room opened to a common corridor accessible to other guests and children. The room was also not adequately soundproof, as we could hear conversations and a child crying in the adjacent rooms during the night. Lunch consisted of typical Sri Lankan cuisine while the dinner was served from a set menu. The bar offered beer but no spirits. On the evening of the 22nd, my wife experienced gastric reflux. I requested a simple dish of kanji (boiled rice, salt and water) for her dinner, but the staff initially refused! After speaking to a supervising member of the staff, this was provided with some reluctance. This incident highlighted a lack of preparedness and willingness to assist guests in need. If you do plan to stay here, please be aware that support for health-related issues may be limited.

Das Hotel ist grunds?tzlich mit sehr viel Potential ausgestattet. Die Idee mit den Themenzimmer und vor allem das Personal überzeugt. Allerdings ist es sehr in die Jahre gekommen und das hinterl?sst erneute Spuren. überall h?ngt was weg oder f?llt ab. Der Teppich wirft Falten und manche Birne leuchtet nicht mehr. Unser Zimmer war sehr hellh?rig und das Wasser mal kalt mal warm. Das Essen war sehr gut und wie gesagt das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir waren nur zwei N?chte dort und das war durchaus ok. Ich hoffe, dass die Eigner weiterhin auf das Potential bauen und das ein oder andere in Ordnung bringen. Vieles l?sst sich mit einfachen Handgriffen und wenig Geld in richten.

Wir hatten zwei übernachtungen in diesem Hotel, sind am ersten Abend sehr sp?t angekommen und wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Wir haben noch wunderbar gegessen. überhaupt war das Essen immer ausgezeichnet. Zimmer: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Standort: 5/5 Zimmer Es gibt verschiedene Themenzimmer, wirklich sehr witzig. Unsere Matratzen waren sehr bequem, es gab Pflegemittel im Badezimmer. Das einzige was ich bem?ngeln würde ist dass das ein oder andere dringend repariert geh?rt. Es w?re wirklich schade, wenn so ein nettes Hotel mit so einer tollen und gastfreundlichen Crew verkommt.

The room is clean. I liked the decoration and the gold plated silverware. Only one thing is the washroom. There were insects and cockroach and the shower head leaks.

First the positives: the decor is tastefully Georgian; Julia’s suppers are excellent and she is very hospitable; staff at breakfast were attentive and helpful. Now the negatives: phone calls unanswered; no reception interaction until 2 hours after arrival; bedrooms are not automatically serviced (‘mugs and towels cleaned on request’); nor are they well-maintained (batteries flat on thermostat; bathroom door knob wouldn’t function without help of a teaspoon!); bedrooms aren’t practically furnished - no wardrobe, but hangers on knobs; dressing gowns smell of a strong detergent; and finally a lot of intrusive construction noise outside from first light (7:30).

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and provided outstanding service, always going above and beyond to make our experience comfortable and memorable. From the security officer to the manager, every member of the team was courteous, well-mannered, and genuinely eager to assist us at all times. Each room offered a unique experience and was well-maintained, comfortable, and luxurious. The pool was also exceptionally well-maintained and spacious. The food exceeded our expectations in both quality and variety. We also encountered an unfortunate incident during our visit, and the compassion and support we received from the staff were truly heartwarming. They were incredibly understanding and helpful, allowing us to extend our stay for a couple of extra days until the matter was resolved. Their hospitality, patience, and genuine care made a difficult situation much easier for us. Every aspect of our stay—from the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms to the overall atmosphere of the property—was remarkable. The staff’s dedication and kindness truly set this place apart. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Anuradhapura. It’s not just a place to stay, but a place where you’ll feel genuinely cared for and warmly welcomed.

位置很好，非常方便，簡單整潔，第一次來檳城的十分合適，性價比很高，唯一就是房間不大，其他都很好很舒服

大交通方面是非常不錯的，附近就有商場，要吃啥買啥都很方便；要脫鞋換鞋子上樓，整體還是乾凈、安全；就是因為樓板房，如果樓上住客走路很重就有聲音，隔音效果不算太好；其他整體都不錯的；
辦理入住的小哥有個胖胖的很乖，有個又瘦又高的就比較酷；入住需要交100按金是現金哦，退房的時候退；還要交一個每天2元的稅費；其他沒有了；行李有小哥幫你搬上搬下。整體不錯哈

Great city hotel in Anuradhapura for a stay. Staff are really friendly, they treat us like VIP’s. Food is great and clean hotel. Recommend for any local and foreign persons
