Visited in April 2025. The food was not as good as previous times we have visited. The food was alright and service was not a quick as previous visits. It was still good and staff were friendly.

We had a wonderful, warm welcome when we arrived at the hotel for some lunch. In spite of it being very busy (clearly a popular place) the staff were friendly and attentive. We had the chilli and jacket potato, and the shepherd's pie (which was a tasty, winter warmer). Margaret, the manager, checked if everything was OK. She was warm and friendly. Special mention goes to Catherine and Harriet for their great service. You can definitely tell it's a family-run business rather than being part of a chain.

Well worth a visit. Outstanding food and experience. Friendly staff especially Hayley our waitress. It's so nice to see this sea town resort thriving. Here for the bowls championship and I would highly recommend. For was excellent and fresh. My dad can be a little fussy and he was suitably impressed.

Lovely hotel, we booked a sea View and it did not disappoint. The room was lovely and clean and huge. Restaurant very attentive staff, excellent breakfast and evening meals. Will book again.

Bad security on the room and entering the hotel. Cheap locks and bet not much attention on who comes through. Room had damaged furniture, the bathroom had mould, stank of damp, and the room was boiling hot. Also very noisy from other guests, proximity to the entrance, and from outside. Didn't even stay, preffered a 2 hour train home than stay there.

Very clean, easy walk to tube, friebdly staff.ideal if you need to be in that area. Decor a bit dated, but had everything you need.

Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Hotel was a little run down but was fine for what we needed. Location was great.

Onderhoud vermoedelijk voor het laatst uitgevoerd in 1990. Lekkages, losse tegels, alles wat vast hoort te zitten zit los. Schimmel, vochtplekken, kapotte luxaflex, ontbrekende knoppen van toilet en radiatoren. Pluspunt: aardig personeel, ontbijt is prima en de metro dichtbij. Douche was ook warm.

Stayed at the Pier Hotel under a Secret Escapes offer. Nice hotel but our room was quite small. Lovely big shower which is always nice. The food was excellent, plentiful and hot with a lovely outside balcony to sit and eat. Breakfast was also delicious. The only downside was that the drinks in the bar were quite expensive.
