Excellent séjour : notre mobile home était geré par VICS LAND HOLIDAYS et pour commencer je tiens à souligner le professionnalisme de L’équipe mais surtout la gentillesse de la personne qui nous a accueillis et qui a géré notre départ : encore Merci pour sa gentillesse (les personnes comme ?a sont très rares de nos jours). Ensuite le camping est top : la situation, les équipements ,les animations . Si vous le souhaitez vous n’avez pas besoin de prendre la voiture pendant le séjour car il y a tout sur place ! Restaurants sur la plage , dans le camping, bar, soirées dansantes et festives , jeux enfants …. Adaptés pour tout le monde. C’est un camping plut?t classe avec des animations assez élégantes. Les encadrants du kids club s’occupent très bien des enfants. La plage en accès direct du camping ainsi que port grimaud qui vous permet de louer des bateaux ou d’accéder en bateaux à st trimez directement. D’habitude je ne suis pas fan des piscines de camping mais cette piscine est vraiment belle, propre et adaptée aux petits et aux grands ! Tres chouette destination. Je recommande a 100%.

Nous avons passé une semaine au camping les prairies de la mer dans un bungalow géré par Nova qui était propre et confortable. Points positifs : le cadre, l’entretien des espaces verts et du camping (très propres), le restaurant Canopy excellent (malgré les prix élevés), la localisation à proximité de la plage et du port avec ses navettes fluviales. Points négatifs : le manque de transats à la piscine qui est une volonté de l’établissement pour que les clients réservent des transats payants. Le restaurant de plage Tangerine ne prenant pas de réservation pour déjeuner malgré la réservation de 5 transats à la journée, nous avons attendu 40 minutes avant d’être installés. Le personnel n’était pas du tout aimable et les desserts de qualité moyenne.

Les prairies de la mer est un camping très bien situé en bord de mer, ombragé par des Pins et des palmiers Les Cabanes sont très bien aménagées la restauration est correct avec des restaurants et des bars de plage disponibles. Nous avons loué des vélos pour se rendre à la piscine qui se trouve au fond du camping à c?té de la ferme où les enfants peuvent effectuer des promenades en poney. Les spectacles sont très agréables et se termine à 23h, je recommande.

This is a very attractive site well set out and designed, albeit it's easy to get lost the first few days! The beach is quite nice with 3 bar/restaurants on it. The lounge bar is also nice with giant outdoor screen for sports events. The pool is excellent albeit a bit far for young children walking from other areas of the site. The cabins are nice enough, a bit more comfortable beds etc than other sites. The food is ok with various choices but its pricey for what is no better than decent food. The customer service throughout the site was generally good and friendly. My one big issue is no showers around the beach -this seems easy to do and it would be very useful to wash sand off before bringing it into the cabins! There were some shower stalls but they were locked and when i asked why i got a shrug. The public toilets are poor. Overall it's just whether it's worth the premium cost over other camp sites - I haven't decided yet!

We booked direct and the 2+ cabin was plenty roomy for us - the main bedroom had a walk in wardrobe and bag storage area, and the living/kitchen area was well sized for these sorts of places. Whilst I wasn't sure about the idea of groups of cabins circling around a sort of communal outdoor space, it was a nice space to have where the kids played, the sunloungers would be out and on a couple of days when the wind was up this area remained well sheltered. The palm trees in the main Praries de la Mer area make a difference to the feel. By contrast, if you book one of the cabins with other operators out towards the swimming pool (e.g. Eurocamp) you will be in a much less attractive environment - it feels more scrubby and I imagine oppressively hot in the heat of mid-summer. Its a big site, with the restaurants, stage, main playground (which was ok), mini-funfair, cafe and supermarket at the beach end with the Prairies de la Mer accommodation. The pool, poney club, min-farm, kids club, sporting courts and a secondary playground (not quite as good) are over around the corner about a 10 minute walk away. The pool had a sign saying it was only for Prairies de la Mer customers - so if you are with Eurocamp or others double check your pool access rights. The main downside of our location (except for the hike to the facilities on the other side) was that we were close to the Long Bar and stage, and on one night there was a large event on with loud music until 11pm (not ideal with kids). There was music every night until 11pm, though not as loud on other nights. The Canopy Bar also plays music to a similar time (by the way, there was a stagnant water smell from the canal around the Canopy Bar). Beach wasn't as good as I'd hoped. The sand is coarse, gritty, almost gravelly. And the wind really was up on a couple of days which made it less pleasant. And in late May/early June the sea was still on the cool side. Still, when it was calm it looks good. Supermarket has everything you need really, open from 7.30am for your morning pastries and bread run. Pool is nicely done out - on the windy days it too was a bit cold to stay in long, but on the other days it was fine temperature wise. The Poney Club limits rides to 6 and under, so our kids couldn't ride. The ponies were looking pretty sad just tied up to a fence with flies all over them. The kids enjoyed the mini-farm (free for Praries de la Mer and Nova customers, a charge of 2 euros per child to others). So a lot wasn't perfect, but ultimately its a very nicely done out place with a lively holiday atmosphere.
