A Basic, Dated Hotel with a Touch of Nostalgia
This is a 2 to 2.5-star hotel — very dated, but clean. You get a good old-fashioned physical key instead of a card, and the gumolite flooring gives it a real 90s feel. It definitely feels stuck in time.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was included, though you have to cross the street to a different building to get it, which I found a bit odd — but the stunning views from the bar made up for it.
One downside was the smell in the corridors — not very pleasant. It also got quite loud at night, and I saw some local construction workers staying there, which changed the vibe a little. Overall, it was an okay stay, but I’m not sure I’d return for around €80 per night
