Guest House très bien placé dans le Centre ville de Stratford, à 10 mn à pied du Théatre, avec de magnifiques promenades autour. chambres cosy et confortable, belle salle de bains et la gentillesse de notre h?te qui parle parfaitement fran?ais et vous indique de bobs restaurants et les visites de la ville.

We had the most amazing time at Salamander. Alex was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble, we booked last minute and everything was great. The room we stayed in was so clean and had all that we needed for the weekend. Alex recommended where to eat and the fish and chips were amazing!!! Will definately stay again if she would have us!!

We booked to stay one night as we were going to see a play at the RSC. Alex the host was super friendly. She welcomed us, gave us restaurant recommendations and helped ensure we were orientated in the town. We had booked a 3 person room, but she upgraded us to a family room. The room was large, nicely decorated and very comfortable with a large clean bathroom. Tea and coffee was provided in the room. I would definitely consider staying here again

We had a lovely stay in this clean, tidy and comfortable guest house. The host was very warm, welcoming and helpful. It is situated perfectly, only a short walk into the centre of Stratford-Upon-Avon through a park with spectacular Redwood trees. We will definitely book again when we visit the area.

What can I say...5 stars is not enough ! Fantastic stay at the salamander , without a doubt the best b&b i have ever stayed in . Beautiful room , great location and the host was amazing .

My friend and I stayed here July 2025. Alex was always available to provide information. We were greeted by Irena who was very accommodating & greeted with a smile. The Salamander has private parking for guests. We stayed on the ground floor room 7. A twin room with the beds were small doubles & so comfy with ensuite the shower was lovely and ample space. Alex thought of everything & provided a fan ..the facilities for tea & coffee has a wide choice and also restocked daily..we went out Saturday and came in our room had been cleaned..there is a lovely lounge area iron & ironing .microwave kettle & fridge should you wish to make any simple foods plates & cutlery provided. The Salamander is opposite a lovely park..if you walk directly through the park turn left ..your within minutes of market restaurants tourist attractions Beautiful b&b would definitely recommend Immaculate throughout

We don't normally do reviews but had to on this occasion, what a great find, a gem of a place . We can't recommend enough The Salamander Guest House. It was so clean,fabulous comfortable beds and pillows, beautiful crisp bedding, we had great night sleeps & all amenities included great selection of tea coffee and super biscuits + off road parking. Alex was so welcoming on arrival and full of local information, nothing was too much trouble to her when we asked for different information. She highly recommended the Boston Tea Rooms for breakfast/ lunch where we got a 20% discount when we mentioned Alex + a great Cocktail Bar near by The location is brilliant for the town centre just a 5 min walk and 10 mins to the river and the Royal Shakespeare Company. We checked out previous reviews before booking but can't understand the few negative reviews Alex got as in our opinion this is a great place to stay and have already highly recommended it to friends, we will most certainly be stopping there again in the future. What a lovely guest house! So clean and tidy, quiet, and comfortable. The room was compact but perfect for a solo traveler like myself. The bed was comfy and there was an incredible breeze when both windows were open. The owner was so kind and accommodating, ensuring everything was ok. There is a nice reception room with large windows. It doubles as a dining room should you decide to eat in. There is a nice little park directly across the street where you can walk or sit on one of the park benches. The property is within easy walking distance to most attractions. Highly recommend Salamander Guest House!

I usually do not write reviews anymore but I felt compelled to write one. This place is a gem. Alex was very attentive to our needs and gave us lots of information about attractions in the area as well as restaurants to visit. She has a vibrant personality and is very welcoming. The place is spotless, very comfortable, provided a tea/coffee tray with cookies and it felt like home away from home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting this area. ??

This was my second stay at Salamander, this time I was with my son. We booked the family suite which was perfect as it gave us both some privacy. I contacted Alex prior to our stay to ask if it was ok to park the car earlier than normal check in time, we were able to do this giving us more time to explore Stratford. The room was extremely clean and very comfortable. Alex made us very welcome, she recommended a Thai restaurant to us which was fabulous. We took advantage of the discount at a local restaurant for breakfast the next morning. I would definitely recommend this guest house.
