Didn’t have time for breakfast at the property unfortunately. Rooms were very nice with great views. A nice experience and the rates were competitive.

We found the service very friendly. There was an intense aroma in the lobby each time we entered the hotel and the doors of the rooms slammed loudly other than that we had a restful night sleep.
The room was lovely and welcoming, very comfortable and was more than we were expecting.
The breakfast the next morning was brilliant, great produce and great selection to try!
The spa was fab, definitely worth adding onto your stay. So many fun relaxing experiences to try and the staff are all lovely and welcoming. Felt like a truly lovely experience compared to other spa visits. It was such a vibe!

Lovely staff, great food. My only concern was that I was staying in a room in the pub, but they upgraded me, which was really nice, but I ended up in one of the rooms that is separate from the hotel. It was near to the road. The traffic was not a problem. The issue was it was a duplex room which had 3 access doors. Travelling as a lone woman I felt quite nervous & I travel all the time. Not a great idea to put a single woman in one of those rooms.
We had a fabulous stay at The Fox in Chipping Norton. The pub and rooms have a charming, welcoming atmosphere, and our room was comfortable, clean, and cosy. The staff were fantastic – friendly, attentive, and really helpful throughout our stay. The bar and dining area felt warm and relaxing, perfect for a quiet evening. Dogs welcome too, always nice to see. The gluten-free menu was excellent, the best I’ve ever seen, with plenty of choice and everything freshly prepared – it made staying here especially easy and enjoyable. A lovely pub with rooms, great food, and wonderful staff. We’d happily return and recommend it to others. Also recommend a visit to the Jaffé & Neale bookshop just across the road - glad to say my bank balance took a hit because their choice was amazing. In addition we visited Diddley Squat ( Clarksons Farm ) which was a 5 minute drive away and came away with lovely butter , pies and bacon. All in all a great stay in Chipping Norton.
Maybe we were unlucky - but having read the previous reviews our overnight stay did not meet expectations. We gave feedback on checkout so hopefully all now resolved.
Wir hatten hier eine wundervolle Zeit ( 6 Tage ) ! Das Fox bietet einen tollen Service ein wundervolles Frühstück und sehr gutes Essen. Die Menschen die hier arbeiten sind allesamt sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt . Man spürt das dieses Haus sehr beliebt ist und so zu sagen der Mittelpunkt des Ortes ist .

Luxurious hotel in a fantastic location! I couldn’t have been happier with my stay. So much to see right out the door. The bed was so comfortable and I loved the shampoo products in my room.
