Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die relativ kleinen Zimmer versprühen einen ?ltlichen Charme. Das einfache Bad ist sauber, das Zimmer ebenfalls. Das a-la-Carte Abendrestaurant hatte eine ziemlich bescheidene Auswahl. Die kleine Bar lud nicht auch so recht ein. Eigentlich alles so in Ordnung - aber eben nicht mehr. Deshalb: okay für eine Nacht.

We stayed at The Lakeside at Nuwarawewa, Anuradhapura last month, and it was a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean and seemed recently renovated, which added to our comfort. However, the pathway to the rooms could use some renovations to enhance the overall appearance and make it more inviting. The hotel has a beautiful, spacious garden and a large pool, perfect for kids and families to relax and have fun. Our children absolutely loved spending time outdoors, and it was a great place for us to unwind as well. The food was good, and the overall experience was definitely worth it. We felt that it offered great value for the stay. Our kids and we thoroughly enjoyed the visit, and we would highly recommend it to families looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway in Anuradhapura. Looking forward to visiting again!

Das Hotel ist sehr runtergekommen. Statt Lattenrost, hat man Bretter unter der Matratze. Der Outdoor Bereich l?dt nicht zum verweilen ein. Maximal für eine Nacht auf dem Durchgang geeignet. Das Essen und Frühstück ist kein Highlight. Der Speisesaal ?hnelt dem einer Jugendherberge.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a group travel and found this to be a lovely comfortable hotel with helpful polite staff. There was a veranda on the ground floor and balconies on top floors. There was a great selection of food both at breakfast and dinner buffet. We ate a la carte

Op zich een goed hotel. Het personeel is vriendelijk en attent. De kamers zijn ruim maar kunnen een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Zowel het ontbijt als dinerbuffet zijn uitstekend. Het hotel mag we alle waarschuwingen uit de Covid periode verwijderen. Alls gast ben je blij dat je weer kunt reizen.

Das Hotel sieht erstmal gut aus, aber dann…Zimmer angeblich nicht fertig obwohl nur 3-4 andere G?ste da waren bei der Menge der Zimmer komisch, dann hatten wir ein Upgrade aber das Zimmer ist nicht fertig hin und her, dann egal eine Nacht und Augen zu. Etwas Zeit wir zum Pool, die Anlage ungepflegt, dreckig und man m?chte nicht schwimmen gehen Liegen dreckig, Dusche defekt etc. pp , Abendessen: kein Mango Lassi vorhanden wie es auf der Karte angeboten wird und auch kein Bier… halt was anderes genommen…. Essen ok nicht mehr, was halt so ein Sate und Reisgericht an Herausforderung hergibt. Bei booking. COM für 103€ viel zu teuer, wir hatten es in einer Rundreise enthalten.

This hotel provided pleasant food and a pool which was nice to cool off in. The facilities overall however were a bit dated and underwhelming. Yet we did enjoy a lovely evening walk around the lake at sunset. Overall it is good for a short stay but would not stay longer than a couple nights.

服務特別周到！check in的時候還有一大盆歡迎水果（有西瓜、桔子、巴蕉），酒店就在湖邊，院子和湖邊有很多野生鳥類，還看到藍孔雀

All staff ( Recepton, Food servers etc.) were Friendly & helpful. Room was Clean & comfortable. Food was of good quality & taste. Breakfast had two options, local / western breakfast. Both options had fruits, juice, tea/ coffee. Dinner was a-la-cart & had a few options to select from. The Soup & Dessert were the highlights , while the main course too was good. Although located in the city, the hotel is quiet & peaceful. There is an ancient lake nearby where one can go for walks. Overall the stay was very pleasant.
