We had another brilliant stay at White Rose for my birthday weekend. Jim and Alison were again the perfect hosts serving up a superb breakfast each morning and a good old chat, too. The room was spotless and comfortable with loads of storage. We were only there for two nights, but there is enough drawer and wardrobe space for longer stays. We would recommend this brilliant B&B to anyone wanting a comfortable and welcoming base when visiting Filey or the surrounding area.

This is most definitely the best guest house we have ever stayed in. The owner's are extremely welcoming, caring and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, they went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. Beautiful immaculately clean spacious room, comfy bed, and a fabulous tasty, delicious breakfast, the best we've ever had. Would highly recommend a stay here. We will definitely be back. I chose White Rose Guest House as a Solo male visitor because it had its own parking and was near Filey golf club. It was family run and looked to have five pleasant double rooms which suited me as although Solo I am used to a double bed. It proved a wise choice as owners Jim and Alison were friendly and my room warm clean and comfortable. Breakfast was freshly prepared for me with choices I'd made the night before. I had my own key to the building and there was a pleasant communal room adjoining the dining area for relaxation. My room had usual en suite facilities which all worked and had ample running hot water. I slept well and although it is an older type of building it was not noisy. The service was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend staying at this lovely guest house.

Our 4th time there wouldn't go anywhere else in Filey, friendly and most welcoming host, excellent breakfast,modern & spacious rooms,highly recommend

Location is good just 5 mins from the centre and beach. Hosts were absolutely wonderful. Room was a really nice size and clean. Parking was easy and breakfast was fantastic, nicest I have had in a long time. Perfect for a weekend away. Even Jim’s singing wasn’t bad. ??

A wonderful stay, as usual. Immaculate rooms, perfect breakfast and wonderful hosts. Alison and Jim have now become dear friends. This is becoming a yearly event.

Just returned from our third stay at Jim and Alison’s lovely guest house. Such a lovely welcoming place, with friendly hosts! We love Filey and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Rooms are spotless, and tastefully decorated, with a lovely tea tray of teas coffees and biscuits. Breakfast is pre ordered and freshly cooked, the omelettes are delicious, and if you’re lucky, you may get to hear Jim singing in the kitchen!! Nothing is too much trouble, and we can’t recommend highly enough! Hope to be back in the future.

The White Rose Guest House is the best b and b I have ever stayed. Everything was perfect from arrival to departure. Jim and Alison are friendly and welcoming the rooms are beautiful tastefully decorated and quirky. Top quality cleanliness and comfort with finishing extras of tea , coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and bottled water. The breakfasts are delicious with a daily taster starter of waffles,pancakes and fruits. We have stayed here on numerous occasions over the last four years and cannot recommend it enough.
