This occurred because without asking hosts, ******* began allowing their AI to randomly combine the photos from various rooms at properties, which had previously been separated by room. While fully acknowledging that this created a blatantly misleading visual representation of the room, we would like to point out that the written description of the room remained accurate, and this room was indeed booked as our most economical small single room with a shared bathroom and a shared kitchen. We completely understand your disappointment at the visual misrepresentation, and we have petitioned ******* to allow owners to regain control over our own listings. In the meantime, we encourage all guests to defer to the written description of each room with any ******* booking at any location, and to message hosts in advance if there is ever any question about a room description or amenity.

Very confused and disappointed by this odd and inaccurate review, Larry. Especially after we spent personal time helping you navigate the paperwork for your temporal applications, which more than likely saved you more money than the cost of all 4 nights in our very reasonably priced family guesthouse. Your wife and you both seemed very content while you were here, complimenting us multiple times on both our warm inviting atmosphere and on our classic rustico style. If you had any issues or concerns, sharing them with us in person would have been far more productive than telling us everything was great and then leaving a snarky public review because you simply didnt understand that ******* adds federal and local taxes to the nightly list price for each room, and even after patiently explaining this to you several times and showing you the invoice generated directly from ******* you still thought you were somehow being mislead by the fact that your final cost reflected the inclusion of these federally mandated taxes.
