Thandile City Lodge was the perfect place to unplug and unwind. We enjoyed quality family time while being surrounded by nature and had an absolutely amazing experience with the animals. Waking up to the most gorgeous views each morning made our stay even more special. Truly a peaceful and memorable getaway — we can’t wait to return.

They must keep away the dogs in the kitchen . Their food is nice, clean place,the pool a well is clean

It honestly felt like we were visiting family, Cobus and Magdel were amazing hosts and will definitely go back. The venue itself gives you peace....oh and the visits from the zebras, giraffes horse and dogs, oooh what a healing experience and the horse rides up to the mountains. absolutely loved Thandile Country Lodge and I will definitely go back with friends and family.

Farm is a wonderful stay. Dinner and breakfast was amazing. Hiking trail was relaxed and peaceful. Highly recommend taking dinner option included in your stay!

I booked Thandiwe Country Lodge for my sister and her husband to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary, and it was truly a memorable experience for them. The highlight was the beautiful picnic basket they prepared for them, filled with delicious treats and thoughtfully arranged. The owners went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect, providing excellent service. The serene surroundings of the lodge added to the charm, making it an ideal getaway. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a peaceful retreat. Thank you for making their anniversary so special!

Thandile was the perfect weekend escape with friends! From the cozy accommodations to thrilling horseback rides, refreshing swims, and the incredible wildlife right at your doorstep, every moment was unforgettable. Was just such a relaxed weekend

Magdel and Cobus were very hospitable and made every effort to make our stay amazing . The facilities were excellent. The food was amazing and so homely. The horse riding was a spectacular experience . The kids had a lot of fun. The staff were caring and always willing to help.

We had a lovely weekend away for my wife’s 40th Birthday . The rooms were spacious , need and clean . We enjoyed the horse riding and also spent some time in the pool which was really lovely . Thank you for a wonderful stay at Thandile Lodge and we hope to come back soon

The location is perfect for a getaway from the city.
The place is definitely old but cleanish. Too many insects and we could hear the rats in the ceiling at night trying to sleep. The advertisement showed a lot of pictures from horses to a swimming and all of this was non existent.
I would definitely stay here again just for the peace and quiet but not at this particular residence. They did not even have a convenience store we had to drive an hour back into town to get some necessities. The owner mentioned a few other 5 star places around in the area so if you are willing to spend I would definitely go there.
