Thank you so much for an absolutely wonderful stay at Hermitage Huisies. From the moment we arrived, the personal touches made us feel so welcome and truly at home. Everything was thoughtfully prepared. The grounds are simply stunning, peaceful, beautifully kept, and such a joy to spend time in. The animals were an absolute highlight and truly made our stay extra special. Our son had the best time feeding them, chatting to them, and forming his own little connections. It was magical to watch. The hot tub was incredible. Soaking in it while watching the sunset was pure bliss and one of our favourite moments of the stay. Thank you for creating such a warm, thoughtful, and family-friendly space. We made beautiful memories and cannot wait to return.

My wife, dog and I had a wonderful stay. Rooms are super neat and the bead is very comfortable. Waking up in the morning with a beautiful view and a lovely cup of coffee was divine. Would highly recommend staying here when visiting Swellendam.

We stayed at the calm and tranquil River Cottage. It is very private with its own little garden and outdoor fire pit. The cottage is very well equipped with a separate bedroom and bathroom. The owner/host, Nadia's passion and dedication shines in every carefully considered detail.

We had a perfect stay! Accommodation has all the comforts needed and it was a breeze preparing breakfast in the well equipped kitchen! Best part was the peaceful farm setting!

Hermitage Huisies are conveniently located out of town, but near enough to grab a bite to eat in town. We love the mountain views and pool. Thank you, Nadia, for being a super host.

A beautiful setting on a farm just outside Swellendam. The cottage was very comfortable. Will definitely return. Had fun feeding the farm animals.

We have stayed at Hermitage Huisies quite a few times because it has everything we need. The surroundings and views are spectacular.

Extraordinaire petite escale à Swellendam dans la campagne , nous nous sommes fais des amis ( chiens , chevaux , poules , anes , cochons nains ). On vous conseille de réserver le Hot Tub un petit plus sur la note mais c'est vraiment un gros plus sous une nuit étoilée. Parfait.
