  • Guest：We arrived about 7pm ish from Kent after a long drive we were very hungry but didn’t know where to eat. Being by the coast we thought fish and chips would be nice, unfortunately the gentleman told us that the pub wasn’t serving food because they don’t have a chef but was very helpful and told us many locations to go into the village half a mile away. He was so helpful as he told us of all the locals things we can do e.g. our grandson wants to try scuba diving and the gentleman mentioned a dive school local to where we were stay. Amazing! He was so helpful and drinks were cheap definitely be back again
  • Guest：Afraid to say, past its sell buy date. Bedroom and bathroom need updating and a good deep clean. Great view marred by windows with secondary double glazing which when pulled back exposed the filthy and rotting outer window frames. Like the Marie Celeste after 8pm.
  • Guest：We visited this lovely pub having visited Sea Shanty Festival at Mevagissey. The location is amazing with unrivalled views across the bay. The interior has been very sympathetically renovated and big plans are in place for further renovations. My husband is disabled and access to places is sometimes tricky, especially if the building is old. The Landlord and staff were amazing, as were several customers who came to our aid. We were very impressed with the whole ambiance of the place and hope to return (hopefully without causing such disruption next time!) A big thank you to all who offered their assistance on the day, we enjoyed a very welcome drink, the Sauvignon Blanc was excellent. My only suggestion would be for the family loo to be made more accessible with the addition of grab bars which would make it dual access. This is certainly a place with big plans for its future and it has all the elements in place for success.
  • Guest：Wow! What a transformation. You have turned this pub into a stunning place but still kept the heritage, well done! We had a Sunday lunch which was fantastic and a local singer was on who was good too. Staff were very welcoming and the locals were very friendly. We would highly recommend. We were only going in for a drink but stayed for a few hours. Well done you have all worked very hard.
