Seit ein paar Jahren buchen wir dienstlich dieses Hotel. Dieses Jahr wollten wir am Ankunftsabend 2 Pl?tze reservieren. Dies war aber nicht m?glich- ausgebucht! Auf Anfrage ob denn der n?chste Abend machbar w?re kam die Antwort: "wenn wir bis 18:30 k?men, ja danach würde es dauern, da eine Gesellschaft da w?re. Da wir deutschlandweit t?tig sind,k?nnen wir behaupten, das so was woanders noch nicht passiert ist und dort immer ein gewisses Kontingent für Hotelg?ste freigehalten wird.

Had a twin room for one night on a trip to watch football. Beds was comfy enough, lots of brown wood. Bathroom was small, shower had decent pressure. Towels s bit in the small side. Good breakfast and friendly staff. The restaurant was excellent, hearty local fare, I assume, as haven’t really seen it elsewhere. I had a pork steak stuffed with ham and cheese and a couple of beers. My mate had a Turkey version stuff with sun dried tomatoes. Really set us up for the evening. Bus stop right outside so getting to town is easy, regular bus service. Hike to Napoleonstein is just outside too. 30 minutes hike, route I took was steep enough, views were great of Jena which is nestled in the valley underneath.
