I recently stayed at the Hotel du Midi in Thones and my children and I absolutely loved it! It is nestled directly in the heart of town across from the cathedral with stunning views of the alps. It is wonderfully charming and family run with the upmost kindness to ensure you have a pleasant stay. The balcony off of my room (Triple) was enormous, as in more like a deck off of a house and had the best view to wake up to. The beds were so comfortable, fluffy pillows and soft bedding. The bathroom is modern and the walk in shower has great water pressure. It was lovely to have my own bedroom with a door while my children enjoyed staying up later on their bunk beds. They have a lovely restaurant called the Petite Chalet that is obviously a favorite amongst locals and tourists alike.

Agréable séjour à l'h?tel , très bien situé entre Annecy et La Clusaz. Bon rapport qualité-prix de l'hébergement, chambre spacieuse et surtout bien insonorisée. Petits-déjeuners copieux et variés avec de bons produits régionaux. Egalement qualité des produits régionaux quant au restaurant associé à l'h?tel. Un grand merci aux personnels de l'h?tel /restaurant pour leur accueil et leurs disponibilités . Cordialement

The room was really nice, the balcony amazing, the staff super nice. Breakfast was nice. Enjoyed the location on the village square, cute and quaint. we stayed there out of the busy seasons so parking wasn't too bad but I can see that being a bit of a struggle during tourist season unless you're riding a motorcycle in which case you get to park at the hotel. That would be the only drawback. We had an amazing stay in the heart of the Alps at a very nice hotel.

We loved the friendly relaxed feel of the property and the kindness and friendliness of the hosts. The balconies overlooking the town square with views of the mountains made for a memorable stay.
