When I booked our trekking vacation with Peruvian Andes adventures the option of staying at the Morales Hotel/guest house was offered to us, and we thankfully chose to stay here. The hotel is a nice walking distance from the downtown area so it is quiet at night and it provided us with the opportunity to really get to feel and experience Huaraz vs just walking out of a hotel door. The beds and pillows were very comfortable with great hot showers and the rooms were spotless. Cleaned daily with fresh towels and even linens. We had them do laundry for us between treks and it was done quickly and smelled amazing. We have never had fresher fruit than our morning breakfast. We even chose to eat dinner there the night before we left on our trekking adventures. The food at Morales was better than any food we had in town. I developed an unexpected medical emergency, totally unrelated to any trek, and the decision to stay at the Morales guesthouse/hotel saved my life. Hisao the owner recognized that I needed medical attention immediately and he arranged for an ambulance and interpreter to travel with my husband and I to the hospital where I would spend eight days. During the time that my husband could not visit me in the ICU the staff at the Morales hotel kept my husband company and allowed him to eat with them in the kitchen so he was not alone. I will be forever grateful for their kindness and generosity. I would not hesitate to recommend the experience that you will have at the Morales Hotel/guest house.

I was with a group of six and we all loved the place. It's nicely located in town. The rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and have great views of the surrounding mountains. We had breakfasts and dinners there, which were very satisfying and saved us lots of time, which we devoted to our daily hikes in the surrounding mountains. I highly recommend the Hotel Morales

Hotel morales is a hidden gem in huaraz. It’s easy walking distance to downtown but also in a quieter neighborhood with a breathtaking view of the mountain range. The room was spotless and bright and the pictures don’t do it justice! It felt like the relaxing reprieve we were needing. Plus it’s got a great climbing wall! We are so happy we stayed and will be recommending it to all our friends that are coming out here to climb. Also Hisao the owner is one of the nicest most helpful people we met on our entire Peru trip. He constantly went out of his way to help us with some of our backpacking logistics.

Hi, I spent 6 nights at Morales Guest House in Huaraz. The place is very clean, nice bed, very comfortable. Walking distance from the center and the Mercado. The breakfast is very good and the staff is nice and welcoming. Strongly recommended

Las Instalaciones limpias. Hotel ordenado. Decoración muy bonita. Habitaciones cálidas. Sobre todo destacar la amabilidad del personal. Los desayunos muy ricos. Recomendado si vienen a Huaraz hospedarse

This hotel is perfect for your time in Huaraz. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfasts were fantastic and got your ready for a day in the mountains. The owner and his staff are very friendly and willing to assist with anything you need. They also have a trekking company, so they are more than capable to help organise any excursions or treks you wish to partake in your time in this beautiful region. The hotel is close to amenities and restaurants. I'd highly recommend staying here!

They are nice they helped us to arrange our tours. Good breakfast with a nice view. They have strong and hot showers and fast internet. They also speak english very well. We would definitely course to stay here again.

I’ve stayed with my wife at Morales guesthouse for several days and then for a few more days by myself. The room was very spacious and very well lit. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good and with worked well. The owner was even kind enough to give me a ride the day I left. Bottom line - I certainly recommend this place and if and when I return to Huaraz - that’s where I’ll be staying again.

We had the pleasure of staying here via our guide service. As we were on a 12 Day Trek our expectations were for dependable lodging - we got way more then that. Very pretty hotel with a nice courtyard. Rooms our big and very clean. Ownere was very helpful and helped us with several local arrangements. The breakfast was made to order with French Press coffee!. Once COVID finally releases its grip I would love to eat in the (now closed) bar and resturant on the top floor. What great views. Check out Hotel Morales - you will not be dissppointed!

We booked this hotel after seeing pictures of visitors dining in open air with a beautiful view of mountains in the background. We needed a quiet and comfortable place to stay before our three-day adventure to Pisco Mountain. The place met all our expectations and more! The owner is a very caring, warm, and knowledgeable person who gave us plenty of advice related to Huaraz but also to our climb preparation and recovery (we stayed there both before and after our climb). Very homey and comfortable place close to the city centre but not too close to be noisy, great refuge. Highly recommend to anybody staying in Huaraz.
