  • Guest：I stayed for 2 nights in the sierra view hotel with 2 friends. It was a very lovely stay. The rooms were clean and nice. Good breakfast. Romesh and his colleague were very helpful and kind. We could ask them all of our questions and they arranged a taxi or tuk tuk when needed. They even drove us to the restaurant and stores by themselves the first night. It was only a few km to the lion’s rock, which was a short tuk tuk ride. I would recommend staying here!
  • Guest：We enjoyed a couple of nights here. It is in a nice quiet area, and the staff are lovely. Breakfast is nice, and they did us a great takeaway breakfast on the morning we did a jeep safari that they booked for us at a better price than in town. Our safari driver Roshan was lovely and we saw so many elephants. We also climbed Sigiriya Rock which was great and a must-do activity, but expensive for what it is ($35usd per person). The room was basic but clean. No fridge but you can get milk, water, beer anytime. The rice and noodle dishes are very simple, so we chose to eat in the restaurants in town instead. They did some laundry for us but the weather wasn't great so our clothes were not dry. It is a long walk to town where all the restaurants are, but luckily we had our own tuk tuk so we could just drive ourselves around. The pool looked nice but the weather was mixed so we didn't use it. Would recommend.
  • Guest：The area is very peaceful and you have a great view from your balcony/ the restaurant towards the lions paw. The breakfast is huge with lots of fruits; dinner is freshly cooked and really good. As I did not have concrete plans, a Tuktuk tour and a safari were organised. If you want to have a relaxed time in a very nice place - here it is.
  • Guest：Dit hotel geboekt, omdat we bij een ander hotel niet tevreden waren. Bleek een goede keuze. Mooi zwembad. Schone kamers en douches. Restaurant is op de bovenste verdieping met uitzicht op de Lion Rock. Niet altijd iemand aanwezig in het restaurant, maar via een appje kun je je bestelling doen en wordt het geregeld. Prima gegeten, diner en ontbijt. Aanrader voor kortdurend verblijf.
