My wife and I stayed one night in Casa de Luz for the purpose of visiting Machu Picchu. It is a very clean and comfortable hotel, and a good value. We would have enjoyed staying longer. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They have an elevator, which is not to be taken for granted in small-town Peruvian hotels.
Una excelente opción en aguas calientes. El personal super agradable y la habitación muy bien. Con ducha buena (monomando), enchufes en la mesilla y el wifi muy bien. El desayuno correcto. Y el precio es bueno. No le puedo poner ninguna pega. Además Bien situado
Location is very convenient to train & bus stations, resto, stores. Bus to Machu Picchu is a few steps away from the hotel. Hotel has a view of the river, the shopping stores, and the road where we see the long line to MP bus from our room. The room is spacious and very clean. It has very good breakfast too. Most importantly, Piero, from the front desk was very friendly, accommodating and helpful in referring best resto to eat and places to see. Also, Jose who helped and picked us from train station was very nice and respectful and greeted us every time we see each other. They made us feel at home. This hotel is highly recommendable.
Hidden gem. Staff were so friendly, they even gave us a takeaway brekkie at 5.30 in the morning. Bed was super comfy & warm . Best of all its right next to the Bus station . They also allowed us to leave our bags while at MP for the day which was great. Would highly recommend , great value.
This Hotel is a gem. Fantastic location, right next to the Machu Picchu bus arrival and departure. Across the road from the market and in the middle of a host of good restaurants. Only a short walk to the train station. The hotel itself is not ostentatious, but very clean, roomy, great bathroom and really comfortable. Great views over the market, spectacular river and mountain views. The manager Piero is extremely friendly and helpful and one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Book it, you won’t regret it.
Excelente! La ubicación es inmejorable, la atención del personal muy cálida y todas las instalaciones excelentes. El desayuno muy bueno y ofrecen opciones como guardado de maletas que es muy útil. Equipamiento muy bueno y las camas increíbles en especial viniendo de excursion.

Muy bien ubicado para tomar el bus a Machu Picchu, frente al mercado de artesanías,el hotel limpio, incluía el desayuno, el Sr. Piero en recepción súper amable, muy atento y nos ayudaron mucho sus recomendaciones.

This hotel was included with our 2 Day Inca Pkg chosen by our tour company. Great location minutes from the Machu Picchu bus stop and 5 minute walk to the train station. Rooms are basic and clean. Breakfast included with the stay was very good and staff were accommodating. After checking out, we left items there while we toured Machu Picchu citadel and hiked Huayna Picchu. Just picked up our items on our return before catching the train. I'd highly recommend this hotel.
This is a very basic hotel however it is very clean with a comfortable bed and a very convenient location for the following morning's machu pichu visit. The breakfast was also way better than expected. They made fresh eggs to order, had freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh rolls. There was also cheese, cereal and yoghurt.
