There are two 'Pavlis studios' in Marathokampou. One is at Ormos, just above an attractive harbour and shown in this photograph from Trip Advisor. I did not stay there! I stayed at the better located Pavlis Studios 4 miles down the road in Kampos. Better because it across the road from the beach - and at the same level. Better because there are restaurants, supermarkets, a bakery and gift tourist shops within easy walking distance (like 3 minutes). The apartments were well maintained, clean and quite modern. Mine had a shower, toilet and wash basin in the bathroom, a double bed and a tiny kitchenette with a hob (never used) and a fridge. The room was serviced every other day. Outside was a balcony with a table and chairs. Inside a wardrobe for hanging clothes, a desk with a chair and other useful shelves for storing things. Perfectly large enough - with good air conditioning and insect repellent protection on the windows and patio doors. The crockery and cutlery looked like cast offs bought in a jumble sale and there was no wine glass - but an assortment of other glasses - non matching. This is a point to be improved - it just let the place down a bit. A kettle was provided - but no toaster. There was wi-fi but it was poor and slow - my apartment was Number 8. The gardens surrounding the apartments were lovely - full of colour - and the swimming pool with a bar (closed at 6pm) and sun loungers was gorgeous. Car parking at the front was free. I stayed 7 nights and only paid 372 euros in September. The location was perfect - you could be on the beach in two minutes. The welcome was friendly and I was even given a complimentary glass of wine! I liked the place - but do make sure you book the right Pavlis studios. You want Pavlis Stuidos, Kampos - although I am sure Pavlis Studios, Ormos is also good.

A lovely set of studios with a pool. We stayed for 3 nights in a room on the 1st floor overlooking the pool. There were lovely views over the harbour, the sea & out to Samipoula island. Filio was a lovely host & her son did the cleaning. Rooms and pool area were kept clean & tidy. We were provided with a bottle of water upon arrval and there was a hair dryer & kettle in the room with a fuly provided kitchen area. No breakfast provided but a supermarket & a bakery were located in the village 5 minutes away, down steps to the harbour front, from the road outside the hotel. Would certainly look to stay here again if in the area.

Sahibi Filio mükemmel bir kad?n gitmeden ?nce ufak bi rezervasyon sorunu ya?amama ra?men ?ok u?ra?t? ve yard?mc? oldu, Türkiye’dekiler kaz?mazd? eminim. Yak?n?ndaki seaside ?ok güzel mekanlar var fiyatlar ?ok uygun

Checkin war ganz einfach. Da wir ziemlich sp?t angekommen sind war im Büro eine Nummer die wir ganz einfach angeschrieben hatten. Die Chefin entschuldigte sich gleich darauf das sie nicht mehr da gewesen ist, weil sie wusste nicht das wir so sp?t angekommen. Sie sagte uns die Zimmernummer und das der Schlüssel steckt. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber geputzt gewesen und wird auch alle drei Tage wieder geputzt und auch die Handtücher werden getauscht. Die Kücheneinrichtung ist voll ausreichen und werden komplett gereinigt. Das Highlight ist die Aussicht von unserem Zimmer aus. Bildhaft sch?n. Ich glaube das in ganz Samos keine bessere Unterkunft gibt mit diesem Ausblick. Jeden Freitag spielt eine leise Musik unten im Dorf und wenn man am Balkon den romantischen Mondaufgang dabei noch genie?en kann ist das 5 Sterne Wert. Der Pool unten auf der Terrasse ist so sch?n und für eine Abkühlung gut geeignet. Der Weg runter zum Dorf ist sehr leicht und auch kurz. Auf den Bildern schaut es schlimmer aus wie es ist. Unten im Dorf gibt es gleich einen Supermarkt der alles hat und auch nicht teuer ist. Vorallem die Chefin ist sehr nett und für jedes Sp??chen zu haben. Ich finde diese Apartments und die Besitzerin haben ein sehr gro?es Lob verdient und wir bedanken uns nochmal für die Ausnahmen die sie uns gemacht hat. ??
