My husband stayed here for a week while repairing our family's home after Hurricane Melissa (3 weeks after the hurricane) and he could not speak more highly of this gem of a guesthouse. Clean and comfortable room, a very comfortable bed, air conditioning, on site restaurant (delicious and cost-effective), reasonable nightly accommodation rates, convenient location for access to taxis and to Unity Hall, and wonderful owners and staff. Even though, because of the recency of the hurricane, there was no hot water, reliable internet, and the pool wasn't open, this was all more than understandable since the worst hurricane to hit land on record had just hit Jamaica only 3 weeks before hia stay. Without a doubt, he would happily choose to stay at this true gem again.

Shower curtain in bathroom needed to be changed there was some ants which was not too overwhelming overall the staff was courteous and friendly location was within close proximity to surrounding places i needed to be and the price was reasonable for the stay I would recommend if you just needed a place to lay your head and you weren’t too fussy about having a microwave ironing board and the regular amnesties that come with a hotel…

A hidden gem! I have stayed at several hotels in Montego Bay over the years, and Chateau Margarita was by far the best independent hotel I have ever visited. Comfortable well appointed rooms, and a friendly, and accommodating 5 star staff. Thank you Chateau Margarita for going above and beyond to make my stay an excellent stay.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights after my Airbnb reservation fell through. I showed up and they had available rooms so I was relieved. I really enjoyed my stay at this Chateau Margarite. The staff were awesome and the facility was clean and pleasant. The pool was clean so we went for a swim. The restaurant also had great Jamaican food. The restaurant staff were pleasant and very accommodating. This location is on my list of go to places.

Chateau Margarita was an Oasis for us. We were there on a mission trip.. It was so nice we actually stayed over extra days to celebrate our anniversary as wel. The owners were exceptionally friendly. This staff was very nice. When we need it more towels we act and receive them. The hotel itself boast real wood furnishings and the rooms, Balconies and nice size bathrooms. The outside eating area is spectacular. The food from the restaurant was delicious!. There is a beautiful pool and beautiful landscape around this guest house. We recommended highly and looked forward to returning soon ourselves. The price was also great.
