The best experience awaits you at Loch Vista. I never wanted to leave. The view is simply stunning, beyond words. The host warm and gracious. As is his pet sheep Chubby. Lovely accommodations, delightful breakfast. One of the nicest BnB s Ive ever stayed in. Get a takeaway from delicious Ditto, some wine and enjoy dinner on your own terrace. Unforgettable

We stayed at Loch Vista Bed and Breakfast for two nights during our time in Te Anau. The property offers beautiful views, and its location made it easy for us to explore the surrounding area. Our host Phil, was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. His local recommendations helped us make the most of our visit and added so much value to our stay. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and wants them to have the best possible experience. We highly recommend Loch Vista B&B to anyone visiting Te Anau and whilst you are there ask to meet Chubby the sheep. Thanks again Phil for making our stay even better.

Really enjoyed our stay at Lochvista. Fantastic views in a peaceful part of NZ. Close to town but far enough away to feel like you are in a world of your own. Host Phil is full of knowledge for those that are new to the area. I think I will come back so worth a stay.

完全不是酒店，就是个山上的民宿。解析也没説要和房东住在一起。给的房间就是3个房间中的一个。就是欺骗消费者。因为房东一直在客厅，居住起来比较尴尬等于只使用了房间功能。提供的早餐也是牛奶泡麦片，没有説不好，只是和想象的早餐差别太大。也没有攻击房东的意思。房东人很好。这居然要1200，这是我新西兰居住过最差的地方。

Nice quiet place!, some minutes from the crowded village Te Anau. We visited Phil‘s Loch Vista for two nights, he welcomed us warmly and had good recommendations for Dinner and also recommended to go and see the Milford Sound presentation movie in the Te Anau Cinema. Good breakfast. We enjoined the visit and feeding of his only sheep on the green! (Named Shrek?) Peter and Susan Switzerland

We had a great stay with Phil. He was a gracious host and introduced us to his pet sheep, Chubby, who was adorable! Phil gave us great dining recommendations and provided us with a delicious breakfast the next morning. The house is up on a hill with beautiful water views. Highly recommend staying here.

Un petit B&B comme on les aime. Superbes vues sur le lac du salon et de certaines chambres. Phil est adorable et sera partager avec vous les meilleurs plans de la région. C’est agréable de vous y installer pour 2, 3 nuits afin de vous reposer et profiter de l’endroit. Chambre simples, propres avec salle de bain et petit déjeuner délicieux a l’heure de votre choix.

It was great to meet Phil and stay at his scenic retreat overlooking the lake. Such a beautiful spot to be in before (or after) going to Milford Sound. Phil is a wealth of information about the local and national scene.

Enchanting views of Lake Te Anau, combined with warm hospitality and great stories of local history by the owner, made this a favourite stay for us. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast provides a pleasant opportunity to talk with other guests. Don't forget to ask to feed Chubby, the resident sheep in the next door paddock.

The property is a located in an amazing area and the views from the property are breathtaking. Phil is an excellent host who not only will give you tips on the area, but is also keen to share his knowledge on the local way of living.
The property is convenient located, slightly out of town but on the road from Te Anau to Milford sound (you need a car).
Phil is very accommodating and makes you feel very welcome.
