  • Guest：I was with a group on a day trip in Mae Hong Son and we had lunch in Sang Poy Cottage. This is a very charming place with a formidable view over the local rice fields and the nearby Sutong Pae bamboo bridge. The food was very tasty and the service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and spoke very well English. I recommend this as the ideal place to take lunch without having the obligation to return to town. I did not see the rooms, but this being a new place, they will surely be value for money.
  • Guest： Sang Poy is simply superb…graceful, peaceful, beautiful… Sang Poy Cottage is everything that is evocative of Thailand and more! A place that has been built from recycled Teak in the traditional Thai style and decorated with a great deal of thought and soul. I loved the attention to detail, and there were many… the handmade floor tiles… the timber fretwork above the shower, the beautiful timber flooring on the verandahs. Modern amenities, a very comfortable huge bed, great shower,complimentary toiletries, bottled water, fluffy towels, well appointed room, sliding glass doors out on to a private quite big verandah to sit and enjoy the views. A hairdryer and a straightener which is not often seen in hotels. Breakfast and dinner are served on a huge verandah overlooking picture post card views across the fields and the mountains beyond. Wonderful breakfast, both western and Thai. Parking is available if you are driving. A garden to sit in to read or just soak in the views. The owner speaks English both she and her staff were absolutely fantastic, helpful and wonderful... I was given a great map of the area with all the things to see and do. A wonderful, kind and helpful owner who speaks excellent English. A fabulous restaurant on site with the best breakfasts I have had all over Thailand! excellent beautiful staff… thank you!
  • Guest：This is a very comfortable place to stay at. Poy, the owner, speaks wonderful English. She is very accomodating and friendly. A marvelous host. The bed is great - very comfortable bedding and the room is huge. Only downside is that the passing traffic noise is rather loud. Would stay there again if I have the opportunity.
  • Guest：This is an extraordinary boutique niche hotel (14 well appointed rooms) which is ideal to relax for a couple of days in a thai rural environment just a short distance from down town Mae Hong Son City centre. The property is close by (within walking distance) to the Sutongpe Bamboo bridge, a major point of interest in the region, which serves the monks of Wat Tham Poo Sa Ma. The hotel is quite new and the design is Lana (Northern) Thai inspired and constructed principally from recycled Burmese teak wood. The gardens compliment the tranquility of the rural settings and together with it’s rustic appearance and the natural teak construction provide the guest with a unique experience. Highly recommended
