We loved every single aspect of this beautiful hotel. The building is brand new, with stylish, modern furnishings, and our room, featuring a terrace with a stunning view of Gran Via, offered breathtaking sunsets and an atmosphere of pure romance. The bathroom is equipped with an enormous shower and all the comforts you could wish for, while the room itself is perfectly soundproofed. The service was exceptional; the staff assisted us with professionalism, making our stay unforgettable. The breakfast was superb, with high-quality products. At Christmas, the outdoor decorations were so gorgeous that passersby couldn't resist stopping to take pictures... truly a dream. Staying at this hotel made our anniversary unforgettable, adding a special touch to our celebration. We highly recommend signing up for Catalonia Rewards to make your stay even more special. We will definitely return to stay here every time we visit Madrid!

En general una experiencia muy buena. La idea de pasar una noche en nuestra preciosa ciudad, el quedarnos en plena Gran Vía siempre ha sido una fantasía. Me pareció un regalo muy original por el cumplea?os de mi marido y así lo hice. Reservé una habitación y un circuito de spa. Estuvo muy bien porque solicité el último pase para quedarnos relajaditos, ducharnos y cenar en la habitación. El problema es que yo soy intolerante al gluten y no había nada en el bar que me pudieran ofrecer. A las 22:30 mi marido se tuvo que ir a comprar algo fuera del hotel para poder cenar algo. Esto no me gustó, un hotel como este debería tener opciones sin gluten... Además lo.pone en su web. Pero me quedo con lo bueno, que tiene mucho. Sus recepcionistas son encantadores, dan un servicio estupendo y nos dejaron hasta unos cargadores de móvil, pues se nos había olvidado el nuestro. La habitación es muy bonita y las camas....son una gozada, junto con las almohadas. El desayuno es de una calidad excelente! Después subimos a su bonita terraza y tiene unas vistas espectaculares! Mi conclusión; Muy muy recomendable vivir la experiencia Catalonia Plaza Espa?a.

Impresionante hotel una vez más, calidad, excelente trato, habitaciones accesible, y desayuno y restaurante buenísimo. Ubicado en Gran Vía cerca de la Plaza de Espa?a, maravillosa ubicación. Fui en verano con mis hijos y en diciembre con mi pareja y no tengo palabras, preciosa decoración navide?a. Lo recomiendo a cualquiera que esté buscando un hotel de calidad y quiera la excelencia…

Location - 10/10 right on gran via. Walking distance to everything! Check in - 10/10. Very friendly. Easy and fast! Room - 9/10 spacious, super clean, big comfy bed (only issue is EXTREMELY quiet, which while nice, you hear the fan/furnace clicking on which is loud). Make sure you request a room with an exterior window. Not all rooms have an exterior window to the outside. Some have interior windows that face inside so you have no fresh air or light. Buffer breakfast - 10/10. Huge! Way more than continental. Made to order omelettes, tons of breads and fruit. Mimosas. Delicious way to start the day. Overall amazing place! Totally recommend.

Even the cleaning staff worked like quiet artists, leaving my room pristine and thoughtfully refreshed. Every detail sang in harmony. I left already dreaming of my return.

I stayed 5 days at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff was always very attentive, and I really appreciated the great air conditioning in the rooms, something not so common in other Madrid hotels. The coffee at the lobby café was excellent, and the restaurant Pulso was amazing. I highly recommend the Secreto Ibérico. The location is perfect, with many shops, restaurants, bars, and attractions within walking distance. There’s a parking lot just behind the hotel (not owned by the hotel but very convenient). The rooftop bar by the pool is also very cool and a great place to relax.

Prima hotel aan de Gran Via. Kamer is ruim en het ontbijt mag als super worden beoordeeld. Min punt is dat ze voor de spa 30 euro per persoon per keer rekenen. Gezien de prijs voor dit hotel mag je verwachten dat hier niet extra voor wordt gerekend. Bij het boeken van dit hotel zie je dat niet duidelijk staan ergens. Misschien in de ‘ kleine lettertjes ‘ . Er zijn voor deze prijs hotels waar de spa inclusief is.

The hotel is fully remodeled, great location (center of Grand Via), and beautiful large, clean, rooms. However, the reception and customer service is HORRIBLE at this location!! We booked two nights and called and cancelled one of the nights, letting them know our trip had been delayed. The man on the phone told me it was not a problem and he would update the reservation, that was it! They charged my CC $600, which I assumed was for the one night I was staying, but when I arrived the two ladies at the front told me I had to pay the second night and that the $600 was a penalty for cancelling the first night, because their records showed it was with less than 24 hour notice. They kept us, late at night, arguing for almost an hour, refusing to let us check in unless we pay again. I repeatedly asked for a manager or supervisor to which they kept telling me there wasn't one available. She then proceeded to go in a back room and supposedly "call" a supervisor over the phone, claiming the supervisor was saying the same thing. I argued with them that we did NOT cancel with less than 24 hours and that the man on the phone said it was no problem and said NOTHING about being charged. They kept arguing with me that I should've known their policy, refusing to let us check in unless we paid them another $500. Thankfully I then thought of handing them my phone and ask them to please look at my call log and find their number to see when I called. Well they did and.......it had been over 48 hours prior to my original check in date!! Only at that point did they embarrassedly let me check in, yet they kept the $600 charge although the night I was staying was supposed to be a little less than $500. We were so tired we didn't even argue for the difference. It shocks me that a hotel of this caliber would argue with a customer this aggressively and all along it was their own internal mistake. I stayed at their Malaga location too and that location's staff is amazing, nothing like Madrid's . Management really needs to do better training of their staff and if there really was a manager on the phone acting like that, corporate really has some work to do. Will NEVER stay there again!
