Alison is an amazing host who’s overseen the renovation of a classic Victorian house into such a welcoming place to stay . We had a lovely room with sea views, huge breakfast and one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. Will definitely return and can’t recommend highly enough

Had a great time! We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived and had a lovely seaview facing room! Lots of nice thoughtful touches with an honesty bar and a mini fridge in the room. Breakfast was made to order and delicious with a few great veggie options!

We had a lovely time at 15 Grosvenor. Alison is so welcoming, it felt like coming home. Breakfast was made to order and nothing was too much trouble for my fussy teens. Alison has a good knowledge of the area and suggested several places for us to visit and eat. The location is a great base, only a minute from the beach and a 20 min walk along the sea front to the main town plus only two minutes from the train station. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were so soft. The shower was hot and powerful. Alison has done an amazing job renovating the building. I would be happy to stay here again.

Warm, friendly welcome from Alison, the owner of this lovely Victorian property. Stylish decor and stunning stained glass. We had a room with a sea view, bed linen was of high quality (probably the best we’ve ever slept in) bed was very comfy. The walk-in shower had plenty of hot water and the bath gowns were a bonus. Great cooked breakfast, eaten in the conservatory, set us up for the day. Alison was ready to offer advice on the local area and places to dine out. Will certainly stay again.

2 night break to wind down, lovely place to stay and Alison is an amazing host! Rooms are perfect and the breakfast is amazing. Lovely family pub, Bo-Peep just a few doors done the road that does lovely food which Alison suggested. We will be back .

I stayed at 15 Grovenor for 3 nights. Alison was such an attentive host. My room was very comfy and well equipped. My bed was very comfortable and the sea views were amazing. Even when I was working late on my laptop, she made sure I had everything I needed. It was clear that Alison cares about her guests to make sure they have everything needed. Thanks again, Alison. I will be back next time when I am in the area.

Lovely place. Great location by the sea. Street parking easy. Bedroom and bathroom comfortable and nicely decorated. Felt nice and safe here as solo female traveller. Alison was lovely, friendly and helpful and also does a good breakfast. Sorry for going home with your keys LOL I guess I wanted to come back!

My wife again pulled it out of the hat with finding this lovely little place. Arrived later than hoped (Thanks,M25) but not too bad. Our room was lovely with good facilities and a lovely view across the park to the sea. Parking is a bit hit and miss but free on street if you find a spot. The room was clean and comfortable and really you cannot ask for more. The owner is lovely, friendly and welcoming and cooks a damn fine breakfast. Order the night before and give her the time and it is cooked when you turn up. Really good quality ingredients and beautifully cooked and presented. As a base for exploring this part of Britain you could not ask for more. Thank you for a lovely stay and weekend.

Alison is a very professional ,caring and attentive person. Everything we needed to know was explained .The room we stayed in was amazing with uninterrupted sea views , and the facilities in the property were first class with the breakfast was a positive ten out of ten .. We are already planning our next trip to Hastings and we will be staying at Alison’s place. The weekend trip was a belated birthday treat for my husband. There was a lovely touch from Alison in the way of a bottle of bubbly in our room . Fabulous x Thank you Alison Nerinder and Hardeep

Lovely room and ensuite, breakfasts were great and Alison was very welcoming and friendly. It was very clean and it was great to have a small fridge too. Nice to be able to see the sea. The street lights are a bit bright at night.
