The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. We didn't realise how far the hotel was from the river. The outward walk was fine but going back seemed a long way as it's all uphill.

The hotel is located in front of a picturesque park. At the very edge of the city center, but still with a convenient car2city entry - the location is good. The higher your room is, the more advantageous the view. If the view is to the street - you will see the park, if the room is to the courtyard - you will see the old town. Ask for higher levels rooms! The hotel has its own garage and parking in the courtyard - the price is 15 Euros per day. Parking must be reserved in advance, because there are fewer places than rooms. You can park in front of the hotel - there are plenty of places, but you will have to run and buy tickets for cash (the Telpark mobile parking application is not valid in Porto). The hotel and rooms are decorated in a modern style, fresh furnishings - recently built/renovated. A very good and voluminous breakfast. Warm snacks, omelets, eggs, lots of fruits, pastries, juices, etc. - there are no complaints. The reception staff is friendly and helpful - they speak excellent English, but this seems to apply to everyone in Portugal. Cons: Contact the hotel in advance and take rooms above the 1st floor, because otherwise for courtyard-rroms - you will look and hear the air conditioning units on the roof of the breakfast hall, and for street-side rooms - you will hear cars and pedestrians. The rooms are quite small. The bathroom door opens inward, so it is impossible to enter with a rug on the floor; if someone is standing at the sink, they will have to move; if someone is sitting on the toilet - they will have to curl legs. The entrance doors to the rooms are poorly insulated. In the hallway, you can hear literally everything you say inside the room. There may be no warm water during the day. Since this has also happened in other hotels, I am inclined to believe that this is a local feature of energy saving.

Hotel is very convenintly located close to metro station and within walking distance to historic sites and ammenities. However, early check in icould be strictly not avaliable and guest registration somewhat complicated for staff seems not properly trained for the job. The hotel went thru a recent renovation leaving behind the lack of running hot water in the rooms. For this reason, we had be relocated to a different nearby hotel from the same brand with hot water and an added kitchen in the room. The remainder of our stay was decently confortable.

Bel h?tel design. On se sent bien quand on rentre dans l’établissement. Un verre d’eau aromatisé est disponible à l’arrivée. On peut déposer ses valises avant le Check in à l’accueil sans problème. L’h?tel est Propre. Personnel parlant fran?ais, anglais et espagnol. Les réceptionnistes étaient souriants et professionnels. Pour ce qui est des chambres elles sont correctes. Petit bémol pour La salle de bain qui pourrait être plus grande, étroite pour deux. Et on entend du bruit des autres chambres mais non dérangeants pour nous. Nous avons eu droit à des petits chocolats offerts ainsi du thé et café durant les 3 nuits ??. Le petit déjeuner est payant 12€ avec un vaste choix salé et sucré.

Oca Republik Hotel 位置不錯，離車站近，晚上安靜不吵鬧。房間整潔干凈。柜臺人員熱情。下次來訪波圖的第一選擇:)

We visited as a group of six and enjoyed a wonderful stay. Lovely clean well serviced rooms. Tea and coffee, comfortable bed and good bathroom. A lovely touch, as it was SanJoao festival 2 decorated cakes and colourful plastic hammer for our use. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

We have just returned from a seven night stay and had a great experience. Our rooms were extremely clean and well appointed. We found the hotel quiet, the breakfast is buffet style with both hot and cold dishes and high quality ingredients, something for everyone. Enjoy the bar facilities at very reasonable prices, €3 a glass of wine can’t be bad!! All staff we encountered were polite, professional and helpful and would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, nice room with good space no501, good views, quiet and clean. Good beds with really good pillows.It′s a little far of the center but a quite area and with parking in front of the hotel. Sundays free. Good treatment in the front desk, specially Ana. We don′t have breakfast we went to a nearest coffee shop really good in Rua Dos Martires da Libertade called Oporto Bakery.

Great Choice! It excels at cleanliness!! Daily cleaning. They change towels daily and sheets every 3 days! Location was very good .10 minutes from Center and 20 from riverside. The breakfast was also good ( we paid extra as it was not prebooked). Stuff was polite and helpful. Only downside is the soundproofing which does not protect from outdoor noise. Also smallish room for long stays. It’s ok for smaller luggage
