We got day passes. Good value for the money. Parents and 2 daughters, in their 20’s. The food was basic, well prepared food, with a generous quantity. We didn’t even drink all of the included 4 alcoholic beverages per pass, but had quite a few of the unlimited nonalcoholic beverages. The alcoholic beverages were well made. The staff was nice and attentive. BBC (Morne Rouge) is a beautiful beach. Nice pool with a swim up bar. Only negative was that many of the beach chairs were broken. Also, we were told the cushions for the pool chairs were being cleaned, in the morning, but they still were not available by mid afternoon. The pool chairs were uncomfortable without cushions. We would definitely recommend day passes at Kalinago Beach Resort!

It was my daughters 10th Birthday and I decided to give her a Surprise. Excellent service provided from the Office personnel. Breakfast was freshly made and was indeed DELICIOUS. We had lunch poolside and it was AMAZING....Everything was prepared and delivered steaming hot. See you soon, Kali. We had a BLAST!

In the past, I have dined at this property a few times; however, I never stayed at the hotel. In December 2023, during one of my monthly staycations, we decided to spend one night at Kalinago. The room was nicely decorated and contained the necessary amenities. We bathed in the pool as well as on BBC Beach but the entire breakfast experience at Sur La Mer was quite impressive. We ordered in advance, for 8:00 am since I was going to the office immediately after checkout. Whilst placing the orders, Kathy guided us in terms of portion sizes, food combinations, and the like. When we arrived at the restaurant, the food was ready. Everything was tasty and I took the rest to the office as the portions were generous. Thank you Kathy for adding value to our experience!!! We will certainly be back…

The location of this hotel is perfect. The beach is usually quiet with plenty of space. It’s a little tired in places but offers rustic charm. The staff were all very helpful. The food was of a good standard, particularly the breakfasts and I’d recommend the rum punch special with has a couple of secret ingredients. The pool has a swim up bar. It’s next to La Plywood bar and a 20 min walk from Umbrellas. The driveway is steep but makes a short sharp walk up the hill to blow away the cobwebs before breakfast. Would definitely return.

We came back with a family group in May 2023 for a week. The grounds looked much improved and staff did make more of an effort to accommodate our needs. We all had ground floor rooms which worked well and allowed us to spend time altogether on the garden outside our rooms with the children. This helped as some of the family were staying at a different hotel or lived locally and allowed us to socialise right outside the rooms where the children were sleeping. Our granddaughters had a great holiday. Enjoying both the location for the beach on your doorstep with its safe sheltered bay and the on-site pool. Staff allowed us to eat our beach BBQ food within the grounds which again allowed us the space to be a family group for which we were grateful. Due the resort being more local and not part of a chain you do get more of a local experience which gives you the freedom to enjoy the Caribbean in its splendour. If your looking for recently refurbished rooms the resort is not for you but if you want a room on a beach in the Caribbean at an affordable price (sale deals available as package through BA from the UK) this is for you. The beach outside your room is stunning is quiet most of the time and very safe for children.

Our staycation was extremely memorable. The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. The hotel team were always been friendly, patient and helpful (especially Deslin) an assist to any good hotel and she puts the quest at ease with her friendly nature.

This was booked very last minute via ******* (3 hours notice) we stayed for 4 nights. our room was extremely clean, comfortable bed & pillows. The staff were all extremely helpful and polite. There was safe - iron - tea making facilities as well as a fridge.
