Beautiful, charming hotel! SUPER comfortable bed, my husband and I really liked this hotel. The host was very nice and I wish I got more than one night hear. Hope I can return!

I spent 8 nights at Residenza Dei Ricci and it was truly one of the best experiences I have had travelling. Donatello and Raffaele were such gracious hosts and really went above and beyond to make my stay special. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated and clean. The bed was so comfortable and the linens luxurious. Donatella is an incredible chef and breakfast was not only a treat for the eyes, but the variety of baked goods was outstanding. There was also a choice of meats, cheese, fruit and bread as well as savoury mini quiches. Juice, cereals and for those with gluten intolerance there was a selection to choose from. I did not go away hungry or wanting more. I did a cooking class with Donatella one afternoon. She was patient and shared her secrets for making the best fresh made pasta dough. We made ravioli, tagliatelle and topped off the experience making tiramisu. All of which I got to enjoy for dinner that evening! Residenza Dei Ricci is located a short walking distance to many restaurants and a fantastic coffee shop. There is also a beautiful garden to enjoy and they truly made me feel welcomed to make myself at home. I truly did feel at home and was sad to leave, but I look forward to returning to this gem and Chiusi.
Living in a Palazzo
We stayed in the Zodiac Room, which has frescos on the ceiling and beautiful antique furniture. The room is right off a shared common area which is also palatial and furnished with antiques. If you want to experience lifving in an autherntic Italian palazzo, this is the place! The owners are very freindly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.
Nel centro storico di Chiusi, un palazzo nobiliare finemente restaurato dove il sig. Raffaele, proprietario e discendente della famiglia Dei-Ricci, accoglie gli ospiti con gentilezza e garbo, raccontando storie, descrivendo decorazioni e arredi. Sembra di fare un salto in un passato placido e raffinato. Il giardino è un piccolo tesoro nascosto, bello ma vissuto con la natura che prende il proprio spazio. Infine, la signora Donatella, con la sua arte pasticcera, rende la colazione un momento di puro godimento. La struttura ha poche camere, tutte bellissime. Segnalo quella con accesso dal giardino, che è stata particolarmente gradita al nostro cane, felice di avere dal Sig. Raffaele anche il permesso di correre libero e scorrazzare nel giardino. Un soggiorno indimenticabile che consente di raggiungere varie mete nelle vicinanze.
Proprietari molto gentili ed accoglienti, edificio storico ristrutturato con gusto, location centrale e comoda anche per raggiungere ristoranti, camera ampia e pulita. Colazione molto buona con un’ottima offerta di dolce. Ci torneremo sicuramente!
Un capodanno all’insegna del piacere di stare in famiglia Raffaele e Donatella due persone splendore ci hanno fatto sentire a casa nostra e poi colazioni ottime con dolci preparati in casa dalla sig.ra Donatella insomma lo consiglio vivamente.Grazie di cuore
Stanze ben arredate, confortevoli e adeguatamente fornite. I proprietari ti accolgono con familiarità ed educazione facendoti sentire a casa La colazione avviene in una sala calda e dall atmosfera dolce e familiare. Bella realtà davvero
Bella struttura ma….
La struttura ha un problema all impianto di riscaldamento acqua sanitaria. Impossibile usare la doccia. Avrebbero dovuto avvisare gli ospiti prima dell arrivo per lasciare libera scelta se confermare o trovare altra struttura. Comportamento del tutto scorretto.
Peccato una bella struttura rovinata da una gestione non attenta.
