I’m rather perturbed about the comment in tea bag and biscuits though we inspected all rooms and none were out of date or mouldy most bizarre staff also said no one reported this? We go throw a box of biscuits every month they never get time to even get close to the date. Not sure if there has been a mix up? Hope to see you back soon. Lynne

I must agree in an ideal world I would so love to have a host to great you, however with 20% to vat 18% to agency commissions, 5% to cleaning, 1% credit card fees 7% laundry 2% to energy …. List goes on. I’m afraid with only 13 guest rooms we run a small enterprise and I simply cannot afford to pay a further ￡120 wages per day ￡43k per year for desk cover 2pm to 12pm to greet all guests but our staff offer a very warm welcome at breakfast. I did operate this model pre covid and struggled to make a margin. We find guests do appreciate the streamlined system we operate and with clear information both on email and in room. Soon we hope to have a touch screen at the entrance to further simplify information transfer. Your room has 5/6 small drawers a hanging area and hooks on 2 doors and a luggage rack Northern Ireland tourist board deem this adequate unfortunately the room works be cramped with more but we do have rooms with wardrobes and drawers had you booked a longer stay we would have allocated you this room but you only stayed one night so one night guests get thins room type. We supply ear plugs to all rooms even the quiet back rooms as one thing we cannot control is the odd random inconsiderate guest but as noted it is very random. But we do try to cover all eventualities. I agree the bathroom is ready for a refit and is indeed booked for sept. Really tricky to book in as we are so incredibly busy! Avacado can be preordered but we tried it and there was incredible waste! So few guests ordered it and they go off so quick: not sustainable and very wasteful. We pride ourselves on local fresh produce and I’m afraid they are a little controversial in my family of farmers #airmiles! The marquee is up for private events when they are booked the back property is booked private for them. None on during your stay.
