  • Guest user：The attention to detail at Melba House is unsurpassed. Mark and Sharon are so attentive. Rooms are superb, showers are strong and beds really comfortable. Breakfast is a treat and Mark has to be the "King of Eggs", no matter how you like them, he'll perfect them. Some great local advice of where to go, what to see and also what to avoid, was appreciated. Melba House will not disappoint.

The breakfast is fantastic with large variety of options to chose from. The Melba house breakfast in a bowl was one of our favourites along with Marks poached eggs! The property is extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend Melba house to anyone thinking of visiting Devon. I will certainly visit again in the future.

Our room no 4 was so clean and cosy with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable with a lovely mattress and pillows. The food was so tasty and Sharon's melba breakfast in a bowl was lovely along with Marks tasty cooked breakfasts and Sharon's too. What made the holiday perfect was the attention to detail from our attentive hosts. A special thank you for the nightly chocolate treat and our bag of goodies for the journey home which was most welcome on our long journey. Thank you so much Sharon and Mark and we'd love to return again in the near future X
