  • Guest user：It was our sixth time at Melia Zanzibar and what a fantastic experience it was! We stayed in the Sea view bungalow overlooking the Indian Ocean and we got to experience all the LEVEL amenities. The resort is devided into two sections. The Melia section with bungalows, rooms and a family pool and the more recent LEVEL section with an adult pool and direct access to Gabi beach. Guests can come and go between the two sections by golf carts provided by the hotel and a converted Zanzibar deladela (public bus) which makes the whole experience all the more fun. It only takes about 7 minutes. There are 5 restaurants in the Resort all with amazing food. We especially liked the Gabi beach restaurant for its delicious lunches. The turquoise ocean and the silky white sand add to this heavenly experience. The Level pool is an oasis of peace with soft music punctuated by the sound of waves. There are plenty of sun beds, parasols and fluffy towels for guests to enjoy and the staff is always available to bring you refreshing drinks. We mostly ate dinner at the breezy LEVEL poolside restaurant. The Chef’s creations are scrumptious offering a wide choice of surf or turf made to your liking. Many thanks to managers Daniel and Riccardo and their excellent teams. Their friendliness made us feel very special. Our hearts also go to Magda and Abdul from the front desk and all their colleagues who were so welcoming and nice. We thank Melia Zanzibar for yet another unforgettable experience and hope to come back soon. M&G
  • Guest user：My wife and I have just returned from Melia Zanzibar for a weekend gateway, and we had a fantastic stay. We went with the full intention of relaxing and we achieved it in abundance, and this was possible with the help of people with the only objective to make every day you spend there, the best day of your life. And that includes literally everybody; from the people who move you around with buggies, to the people at the restaurants, the spa and obviously to the management team lead by the General Manager Nicolas and the Resort Manager Ricardo, who is always present and takes care of the physical well-being of his guests. All the restaurants should be visited at least once, and definitely don’t miss out the lobster fiesta night. It was an amazing display of creativity, with a local touch and great talent in the kitchen. The restaurant by the jetty for lunch was fantastic, and our lovely waitress Elizabeth made it even more memorable by her wonderful service and kind personality. A special thanks to Orio (The F&B Manager) who found the time to check on us. The pavilion is spacious and always clean. It's obvious that the room is regularly renovated and in excellent condition. The spacious outdoor balcony area also offers enough privacy and a beautiful pick of the sunset. Everything in the room is first class. In brief, the resort is well maintained and kept very clean, all the facilities are magnificent, the food is delicious and diverse, but the human factor is what really makes this place different than anything you have seen so far. We recommend this beautiful resort without hesitation if you decided to visit Zanzibar. We will be back. Patrick and Emelia #54
  • Guest user：After 8 days of safari adventures, my husband and I had the most relaxing week at Melia Zanzibar. We stayed at the Level and we can’t say enough good things about our experience. Everything was outstanding. Our bungalow was gorgeous, the view was spectacular, the food was great, and the service was beyond expectations. Special thanks to Yussuf, the receptionist, who made sure everything was perfect from the day 1 until the end of our stay. He was available 24/7, professional, friendly, and quick to respond to any request. We can’t wait to go back to this hotel. Asante Sana Melia Zanzibar!
