This place was heaven. We spent two days in this paradise. The Villa is spacious and just marvellous, the views are amazing, and the service extraordinary. All staff were very helpfull, but a special note must be made to Suranga. He provided top service, anticipated every need, and he did it all with a friendly smile. Furthermore he told a lot about local food and customs. We feel blessed that we got to spend to nights in this accomodation.

Very very disappointed . The so called Boutique Villa (Hotel ) is actually a 4 Bedroomed Villa . We occupied two of them and maybe we would have had to share with someone else . The villa is located about half a kilometre from the main hotel, Amaya Hotel . If you want to order room service then there is a one hour wait or you have to walk uphill to the restaurant . Another option is to ask for a vehicle which may take thirty minutes (they promise it is 10 m ) The view from there is spectacular , but thats where everything ends. Breakfast spread is average ; but the people are very good and helpful. There is nothing to do except stay in your room and fret . Internet is almost non existant as reception is probably the worst I have ever witnessed . There is just no connection available

We love Suranga!! he was a great host he went above and beyond all of our needs and requests. His customer service was far above what we could have expected. He is definitely an assest to your company and a reason we will keep coming back.

We had the best time with our yoga group in our own villa. The staff is so friendly and accomodating - we loved especially Gayan and Suranga took so much care of us with the friendliest attitudes ever. We are grateful and will return.

We spent 2 nights at the Villa which is up in the hills above Kandy. It’s a stunning location and is a former plantation owner’s residence so quite grand and set in beautiful gardens. You almost feel important when you arrive. The negatives where in the details though. Staff very polite and friendly but one evening at dinner all 4 of my course’s arrived within 40 minutes, 2 of them at the same time! Not the end of the world but an example. Any alcohol had to be ferried down by road from the parent hotel nearby which on the 1st night meant my Gin tonic took so long I ended up having it with dinner. Final winge is that the wine was by far the most expensive anywhere we’ve stayed in this fantastic country. ￡50 something a bottle and ￡60 something for pretty standard white. If they could iron these sort of things out then the Villa could live up to its potential

When you want to feel in heaven you must stay in this hotel with swimmingpool and fresh air in the mountains over Kandy. The service is very individual , specially from Suranga our own butler. The food is excellent so is the wine. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very well.
