We stayed here for two nights for a wedding nearby with friends staying also. We were very happy with our room, which was spacious and beautifully decorated. The shower was very nice too. Food amazing. Service amazing. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended
We had a fantastic evening here. Dinner was superb, creative, delicious. Lovely staff, super comfy room and awesome bath! Worth coming just for the bath..... breakfast in the morning was equally delicious and fresh. thank you Fuzzy Duck.
A return visit to the Fuzzy Duck, and just as excellent as ever. We stayed two nights, ate in the restaurant both times, and had a brilliant stay. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable, and the food outstanding. Marvellous wines too. One tiny caveat: the music from the restaurant is audible in the bedrooms (especially in the morning - aaargh!), so if you are staying and affected, let them know - I'm sure they'll accommodate. But every other detail is perfect.
Very nice boutique hotel. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed with quality bed linen. Our room was compact but perfect freeing gowns provided were a thoughtful extra. The rooms are over the restaurant so expect some noise in the evening but nothing that would stop me visiting again. Breakfast was amazing. Evening meal in the restaurant was also very good.
Fantastic stay, staff very friendly. The room, whilst compact, had everything you need with a really good bathroom. We found everywhere was exceptionally clean and breakfast was awesome, with enough choice. Will definitely visit again.
We came for dinner last year, and stayed the night this time. But we’re coming back for longer; apart from anything else, we want to explore the delicious menu. The style is that of a _very_ upmarket pub, but there’s loads of space between tables, and the food is genuinely magnificent. The menu is short (ie not all out of the freezer!) but all the options looked excellent. I had sausage and mash; this pub stalwart is elevated to mythic status by a round of Cumberland sausage on a snowdrift of the fluffiest mash imaginable, with surely the world’s most unctuous gravy - a gloopy, almost black and oh-so-tasty concoction that must’ve been reducing for days. The rooms are very stylish; ours had a comfortable and efficient shower, beautiful fluffy towels, and plenty of space. The location is perfectly poised to explore the local area, and Shakespeare’s Stratford is just a quarter of an hour away in one direction, and the Cotswolds ten minutes in the other. The staff are all quite charming. There’s free charging for your electric car. So we will be back for longer next time, and we heartily recommend The Fuzzy Duck to you.
Fantastic from start to finish! Bedroom was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were excellent as was the food and drink, with a nice garden to relax in and listen to the birds, pint in hand. Very dog friendly too. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay. Marvellous!
Amazing stay at the Fuzzy Duck, we loved everything about it, the food was awesome the staff very accommodating and the place had an overall chilled relaxing feel to it. the rooms were lovely, clean and cosy. The only bit of feedback Id like to give is that the room doors bang really bad when doors downstairs in the bar open and close, it kept both myself and out dog awake until the bar closed at 12.30am, if there is anything they owner can do to eliminate this Id suggest they do, other than that a perfect stay and would go again.
We enjoyed our stay here, and the food was really excellent at both dinner and breakfast. Nice ambience in the bar and dining room with pleasant staff. Breakfast served from 9am in a light, well decorated room looking out onto the patio and gardens We stayed in room Buff Orpington - plus points are a very comfortable bed and lovely deep roll top bath. But it’s a fairly small room made smaller still by a very large cupboard in one corner which serves as a storage cupboard (externally accessed) for cleaning materials. No complimentary toiletries beyond a bar of soap and liquid hand wash, and no milk for the tea & coffee tray. Be aware as well that the rooms are over the bar/dining area and noise from there is audible, which may affect you if you’re a light sleeper

We were travelling back from visiting Hidcote and looking for a quick lunch. We thought we'd found a village pub, and had quite a surprise when we realised what we'd stumbled upon. We both had excellent meals, and it was a real treat which made a good day out into a memorable one.
