  • Guest：We booked this hotel as it was a higher end luxury hotel and hence didn’t mind paying twice as much as the other hotels in the Sacred Valley. The gardens were beautiful and the exterior is cool, staff was friendly, nice big comfy bed and the dinner food was tasty. Drawbacks were that it didn’t really feel as nice as we expected for the price. It’s quite old (not in a charming way), the cold water suddenly cut while showering scolding me, the toilet stopped flushing (no, we didn’t clog it :p), the window in the roof is a nice detail in the daytime, but means a light will shine in your face from 5:30AM, the dinner food was good but extortionate in comparison to other nice restaurants in the area (with a baby and the hotel being in the middle of nowhere, we couldn’t go other places for dinner, so we were essentially in a captive market paying a lot for the food), breakfast was mostly cold continental with an offering of fried or scrambled eggs (again, very sub-par for the hotel price), all of the luxury elements were also really expensive (getting a massage, yoga session, using the jacuzzi - spa should have been included) and booking a taxi through them cost way more than Uber or negotiating with a local taxi. All in all, delicious dinner food and super friendly staff with lovely gardens, but very expensive for what you get and it needs some maintenance and improvements on the included offerings.
  • Guest：Charming boutique hotel set in a garden-like oasis just outside Urubamba. The rooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable, with a villa-style feel. The staff is friendly, and the on-site restaurant is excellent. The only potential downside—though some may see it as a plus—is that the hotel is a bit removed from town, so additional activities require a short taxi or tuk-tuk ride. I highly recommend this hotel for its cozy, peaceful setting.
  • Guest：This place felt truly magical. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms, while sparse, were clean and spacious. While I really loved the location, there were a few things I wasn't completely happy with. Our room had two double beds, and as a married couple we expected to share a queen or king. The room had no built-in heat, only a small and loud, but efficient space heater. We finally got out of bed and turned it off when it got too hot and loud. The beds were very firm, and even though we use a firm mattress at home, we both found the surface uncomfortable and we didn't sleep well either night. But the restaurant staff was gracious and the food was wonderful. Even though we had no other choice of a place to eat, we'd have chosen to eat there anyway. They fixed a bag breakfast for those on our early tour since the kitchen wasn't open at our pickup time. I'd give it five stars if it weren't for the things mentioned above, and we may have felt differently in another room. The internet connection was quite good too.
