All premier inns are the same , a bit tired and dated , but all in all , not bad

Fast and easy check in ,with very polite staff . The room was very clean and spacious. It has all you need for your stay . Tea and coffee which is in your room , and you can get more from reception when you have used your two teabags supplied. The bed was comfy, but I didn't find the pillows that good . Normally the pillows are great in Premier inn. There are plenty of lighting options for your room , and lots of sockets to plug your devices in . The bathroom was a good size and modern. The shower was powerful and HOT , which is always nice . And you can adjust the shower ,so that good point for me being small . There are washing gels supplied ,but you can always take your own . There was a bit of the beading coming of the door of the shower . But apart from that it was all good . Lots of free parking and not far from Newport

Clean , comfy and secure. Considering it's location it is quiet. Friendly staff , good food in restaurant. All round great value for money. Beds & pillows , bedding all great 10/10 for value. Second time in 3 months we have stayed her , a ground floor room & first floor both good rooms & a positive experience each time.

one night stay Sunday 16th March had a lovely time nice welcome when we arrived and was check in thanks to Kirsty, Rebecca, and Harris thanks for a lovely stay , room was clean and comfortable and warm Steve and Michele from Bedfordshire.....

To be fair the Beds/bedding are very comfortable. However there were problems in the bathroom- toilet seat not secure when used and large crack in sink which should have been spotted by staff. TV’s are very small in this Premier Inn’s compared to other ones. Room basic and tea/coffee making facilities were lacking. Couldn’t log onto the wi-fi, kept losing connection. Had breakfast and dinner twice at the Beefeater there. The cooked breakfast is v good and there’s a wide range of choice. Yet again the breakfast experience is marred by the toasters. At every premier inn we’ve stayed at, the toasters supplied are so slow! You are waiting 5 minutes for adequately toasted bread which causes a queue at busy periods. It really can’t be that difficult for premier inn to address this and supply better toasters! Dinners were ok but portion sizes varied over the two nights for the same meal! One night I was served inedible gristly fatty fillet steak that you couldn’t cut with a steak knife so had to send it back. We were sat at a very wobbly table and had to put a menu underneath the leg to secure it. Did tell the staff but the table was still there the next day. Staff table service was a bit slow but they were all v pleasant.

Very pleasant stay despite the building work for the new restaurant which wasn't intrusive, just a little dusty everywhere. Only downside was the useless wifi. It seemed to keep dropping in and out and saying it wasn't secure. Not a major issue for me personally, just a little annoying.

Typical Premier Inn, but I feel standard are starting to slip. One tea and two sachets of coffee only for a couple (no biscuits). Room wasn't great and spare pillows weren't sealed, like they are meant to be (I think), so don't know if they had been used. Price was good at ￡83 for the night

Super impressed with this Premier Inn, this is how it should be. From the moment you arrive you are greeted with such friendly staff who can’t do enough for you, whenever you walk through reception they make a point of making you feel welcome. The room was spacious and spotless. The pub for breakfast/dinner was immaculate, staff friendly and very efficient. Staff at breakfast always said hello when passing and made you feel welcome. Breakfast was superb, hot and fully stocked. Can’t fault this Premier Inn, definitely one of best if not the best we have stayed in.

Solid 3* experience and, at ￡90 a night Inc breakfast, no complaints. Room was quiet, smartish, nice shower. Couple of issues had to be referred back to Reception, one got sorted, one didn't. Breakfast at the Beefeater offered a good selection although the place was let down by sticky tables and floors.

My room that was initially allocated to me was not satisfactory. Kelly and her colleagues moved me to another room without any fuss . The staff here were the most courteous and willing of any that I have experienced on many visits to other sites I have used . Always smiling and helpful, well done Kelly & Co
