Ghent is a very pleasant city to walk in, so the hotel is very well located, it is very close to the train station and it is not far from the center. The room is well lit, the bed is very comfortable, I really liked the view of the garden, especially at sunset, because of the way the sun enters the room, the breakfast was also delicious, I really liked having fresh orange juice , freshly squeezed, variety of breads and hams. Karl is very attentive, he speaks several languages, which makes it easy for tourists. In short, I recommend this hotel and if I have the opportunity to return to Ghent, I will definitely look to stay here, I really enjoyed my stay.

Wundersch?nes B & B in ehemaligem Herrenhaus, geführt von einem sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Gastgeber. 5 min vom Bahnhof St Pieters, 5 min zu dem sch?nen Citadelepark, ca 20 min in die Altstadt. Sehr sch?nes gro?es Zimmer (Deluxe Room 1.OG - Ausblick zum Garten - daher sehr ruhig), geschmackvoll eingerichtet (Landhauss-Stil) ohne überflüssigen Schnick-Schnack, sehr gepflegt und sauber, gro?es Badezimmer, Dusche, 2 Waschbecken mit mehr als ausreichender Ablagefl?che, WC - ich fand die Bodenfliesen sehr stilvoll! Gute Ausstattung: Aircondition, Safe, Nespresso Maschine, Wasserkocher, F?n, ganz ausgezeichnete K?rperpflegeprodukte, schnelles Internet und eine sehr gut bestückte Minibar. In dem gro?en Bett (2m x 2m?) habe ich hervorragend geschlafen - wie auf einer Wolke.? Das sehr gute Frühstück mit frisch zubereitetem Obstsalat, leckerem Joghurt, Marmeladen, verschiedenen K?sen, Wurst + Schinken, auf Wunsch gebackenes/gekochtes Ei und nicht zu vergessen das sehr leckere Brot und die ausgezeichneten Croissants runden den Aufenthalt perfekt ab. Im Frühstücksraum kann man sich noch sehr sch?ne Bildb?nde zu unterschiedlichen Themen anschauen

Très bel établissement, bien placé, accueil super pro et chaleureux à la fois. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie est incroyable et le petit déjeuner magnifique ! Le plancher est un peu sonore et on peut parfois entendre les voisins marcher, mais ce n’est pas gênant. Je recommande !

The breakfast is expensive for 20euros for cut up fruit and yogurt, bread and coffee. It wasn’t explained properly why I paid €16 euros more than what ******* gave me including city taxes.
But space wise - this is the roomiest B&B we had, newest also but the air conditioning in our room was directly pointing to our heads

We loved the place and greatly enjoyed our stay in this little gem. This is a boutique hotel full of charm, stylish and cozy at the same time. Excellent quality price ratio in a city where accommodation is quite expensive. Our room under the roof was super spacious, lovely decorated and very neat (spotless!). Super comfy bed. The bathroom is spacious as well and the bath is huge. We were very happy to see there is a Nespresso coffee machine in the room. It is a real plus and an important detail to me. The location is less than 10 minutes walking distance from the train station. Number 1 tram stops right across the street and can get you to the city center. The hotel is also at walking distance to the historic center of Ghent (20-25 minutes), one can enjoy a nice walk along the river all the way to the center. I also liked the concept of honesty bar. Something we don’t come across often these days. Nice to feel the owner trusts his clients and is not all about making money. Only negative point for me was the transparent glass door to the bathroom.I don’t understand this concept even when in couple. And if you travel with a friend or a family member it gets uncomfortable and awkward… I would suggest to apply an opaque or frosty window film to allow full privacy in the bathroom. It’s an easy fix. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back when going back to Ghent! It will be at the top of my list.

Nicely kept property. Rooms are large. On the pricier side for location (20 minute walk to town) and value. Be careful even though it says bed and breakfast and one would think it comes with breakfast it’s actually a bed and for an extra 20 Euro a day a breakfast.

Top B&B, kamer ziet er fantastisch uit, de eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt is ook goed en je kunt van tevoren eventueel een parkeerplaats reserveren. De locatie is is ook goed, klein half uurtje lopen naar het oude centrum. Deze B&B is een aanrader en wij komen graag nog een keer terug.
