A tranquil place away from the hustle and bustle. A boutique property which is very aesthetic. The rooms, pool and proximity to the beach is worth experiencing. The chef Mr. Sushil and the entire support staff particularly Tushara are worth mentioning. They took special care of us in terms of curating meals and offering such personalised stay and experience. We will truly cherish the memories created. A place worth staying. A home away from home..

No signboards anywhere! But once you come to the location the service, hospitality & food is top class. The Manager Meuru and the Chef Anura were absolutely great. The food quality and the curated experience was fab. The Lobster was the icing on the cake! The pool was nice and well maintained. The Stewards and others like Tharanga & Ashitha were very good. A mini fridge is missing in the room....

We had an amazing time during our stay at the Villa. The place had a lot of charisma and personality, and we were able to relax, enjoy and cherish our holiday. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and ensured that our time was well spent. The food was fantastic, especially the BBQ that was arranged on the beach. The whole place was very clean, and the rooms were comfortable and looked exactly how they were shown on their website.

A truly memorable stay. An amazing and tranquil place with a superb pool, room and amenities. What truly makes the stay amazing though is the staff. The service and hospitality they provide led by the Chef is amazing. The food was amazing as well, each meal a delight. The staff pay attention to the little things and details that really made it an amazing experience.

The website representation of Kirana was very deceptive. It combines the two facilities one in Bentota(Kirana) and another in Kandy, It gave the impression that it has villas and a large resort. We were surprised to see when we reached the facility that it is one villa with three rooms. We had booked the master suite. It had very limited facilities. Not even a kettle to heat water for drinking. They had kept only two small bottles of drinking water for the night and no staff was available after 0930 pm except for an outsourced security man. The room was not clean. Basic facilities were missing. The staff were good and helpful and the food was good. They should have described the property properly as a three room villa with bed and breakfast with no room service in the night. We had booked it for 4 nights but decided to leave after one night and they charged us for 4 nights despite our explantation to them. We were very disappointed at the way the reservation people behaved at the central reservation of the Santani. They really spoil the image of Sri Lankan hospitality! This should be brought to the attention of the owners . Stayed on 7 July , night.

Absolutely fabulous place. Perfect setting, rooms, food and staff. My wife and I Loved the place. Small place, lot of privacy and yet the happening places are 10-15 mins ride away. This is right on the beach so one wakes up to the sound of the ocean. Ranjan the in house chef is outstanding and goes out of his way to understand your preferences and then creates a masterclass kind of dish. We loved the place even more mainly because of the food and the staff. Meuru is the manger and most helpful. Dynamic and personable. He ensured that everything was to our satisfaction. Also Hasitha and Tushara add stars to the service.

Simple exceptional and such a gem - small sized boutique hotel with perfect service, thanx to Tushara and the staff. Went here with family and had a wonderful stay. Nicely designed rooms, big pool for the kids and right at the beach. The city center is only 2km away.

Everything is exactly as it looks in the pictures. The place is very quiet and peaceful. Extremely clean! There are only 4 rooms, and the space is huge. The beach is meters away and very beautiful, as are the sunsets there. I would recommend the villa both for a family holiday with children (we were with our two children) and for couples. The staff is very kind. My recommendations to the management are for more variety in breakfast and a coffee machine for a good espresso ??

I had a brilliant stay. The villa itself is beautiful. Rooms are huge and v stylish. Location is great: on a secluded stretch of beach, but within short walking distance along the beach of various bars and restaurants. Food was also excellent, in particular the Sri Lankan breakfast. The best bit however was the service. The team are all incredibly polite, friendly, helpful and go the extra mile to make the stay special. Small touches like setting up dinner on the last night by the beach were very much appreciated. Was very sad to leave.

Fantastic time with family, Tushara and his team were exceptionally kind and ensured all our requirements were taken care of. Food and presentation were exemplary, the chef was very kind to prepare what we wanted with in a short time. The property is a hidden gem.. looking forward to coming back.
