  • Guest user：We had a night in the family suite, and the owner couldn't have been more polite or accomodating. The rooms were spacious and clean, with the breakfast super tatsy. We felt really welcomed. If you need a budget stay, this hands down beats local big hotel chains. It's on the outskirts of barrow too, only 30mins to windermere.
  • Guest user：Stayed with my grandsons 10 & 8 as we were visiting the safari zoo. Was a little nervous on arrival as the bar area was full of guys who had clearly been enjoying a boozy afternoon. We nipped out for dinner and were shown our room. Wow ! I was really surprised it was beautiful. Manchester City were playing that evening and the staff allowed the boys to sit and watch. The boozy crowd I had been so nervous about were really friendly and chatted with me and the boys. They made us feel very welcome in what was obviously their local. Beds were really comfy and we all slept well. Breakfast was delicious. I would 100% recommend
