  • Guest user：Warm welcome after a long drive. Room very comfortable, great breakfasts and nice gardens to enjoy. Had dinner the first evening and it was super. Special thanks to Geoff for the great transfer service to and from a wedding we were attending locally. A most enjoyable stay
  • Guest user：Lovely place to stay. We came here when doing the Polar express experience. The room was lovely, part of a cute cottage. Lovely attention to detail with a flask of oat milk for coffee/tea in the rooms. Lovely breakfast and restaurant. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much, thank you.
  • Guest user：We booked into room 12 - “best in the house” - last weekend for a romantic getaway. The room was amazing - more of a suite really. The four poster bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was stunning and the bathrobes were huge which is very unusual. We had breakfast each morning which was fabulous. We also had an evening meal - highly recommend the Vietnamese noodle salad as a main - and a perfect Sunday roast. The staff are lovely - so friendly and very attentive. The owner was also in evidence which is lovely. The hotel has been renovated in the last few years and it’s been done very sympathetically and in keeping with the hotel’s history. Highly recommend a stay here.
  • Guest user：Despite the restaurant being busy they were able to slot us in for lunch between two party bookings. We had a comfortable table in the bar and ordered three different dishes all of which were excellent. Lovely looking place, great service and food. No complaints. Also a decent price given the quality on offer.
