This is a great pub with comfortable rooms, friendly owners and staff and a lovely breakfast for residents. The fact that the pub is so popular despite only serving drinks says it all. Bridport is our bolt hole, a bustling little town which makes a great getaway and the Tiger, close to a cheap car park, is the perfect base.

An busy and popular locals' Victorian freehouse featured in the Good Beer Guide and Good Pub Guide. Five changing real ales. Two decorative bars and two lovely courtyard gardens decked with flowers. Lots of fresh flowers inside. Ironically plastic grass in the rear courtyard. Seven well appointed, comfortable and clean rooms. We had room 2, which was spacious as was the en suite. Excellent breakfast with a couple of non generic choices. All delicious. Greeted by lovely Lynne, and met Jacqui the long term owner the following morning who was a delight and engaging. Apart from breakfast this is a traditional wet pub close to the centre of town which has plenty to offer. We were lucky to be there for the following morning's market day. A splendid overnight stay in this historic and well preserved market town.

We stayed here while hiking the Southwest Coastal Path. We arrived soaking wet but were kindly welcomed. Our room #2 was so much fun. Like being Alice in Wonderland. It was comfortable clean and the shower was fabulous. The inn has a full bar so of course drinks were in order after a day of hiking. Breakfast was nice and we would recommend this place as it’s right off the main st. W restaurants etc.

Spot on location in the centre of Bridport. Downstairs you get a busy, friendly locals pub with great beer. Upstairs lovely 'boutique hotel' rooms. Ours was clean and well furnished with a very comfy bed. Top notch breakfast too. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for one night in March and will definitely stay again next time we visit Bridport. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We had a room on the top floor and it was very quiet. Breakfast was fantastic with a great choice of options. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the Tiger Inn last night and at check in without us even asking, we were offered an early breakfast! How nice was that to hear. All in all everyone is very helpful, the bed really comfy, the room clean and modern. It is a pub downstairs, so a bit of noise but nothing to trouble you. At the price, can’t beat it. 100% recommend

I've stayed at the Tiger a couple of times but this time visited with friends just for beer. A lovely, welcoming and friendly pub, very much a locals pub, a free house with a great selection of cask beers. It was definitely our favourite pub during our stay in Bridport.

Fabulous family run hotel and pub. Beautiful and substantial room with a comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Great breakfast (and so much choice). Ideally situated for Brigport market and for exploring the stunning Jurassic Coast. A great experience and I will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Tiger Inn, this was our 4th time. The room was spacious and comfortable, with tea, coffee and TV. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, Car parking was in the street if you can find a space or in the car park across the road The Hotel is in a very good location for all the shops and pubs and a few restaurant’s in Bridport. The Saturday Market in the town is one of the best we have seen and a joy to walk round. I would say the Tiger is the best pub in the town but that’s my opinion. The beach at west bay is just a short ride away from the town So I would say if you are visiting this area you can’t go wrong booking this hotel.

A nice stay at the Tiger, a good location in the town, parking available in nearby public car park. They don’t do evening meals, but breakfast was cooked to order with a very good choice of hot food together with cereal, yogurts etc. and pretty much everything you would want. Staff members were polite and accommodating. The room was pleasant and very clean, if a bit lacking in surfaces to place/store things. A couple of negatives: the bed was very hard and uncomfortable, and one of our evenings was spoilt by 3 foul mouthed old blokes sat at the bar, talking loudly where every other word was “f..”. Staff members presumably either thought it was acceptable or were intimidated by 3 old blokes into not asking them to tone it down. Whichever it was, it was unsociable behaviour and brought the establishment down in my estimation considerably.
