Amazing time away with my family would recommend staying here close to town center rooms lovely and apart from the outside of the building it was spotless

Had a fabulous stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. Our room was clean, spacious, overall, Hotel was spotless. Staff were all friendly and welcoming ,and willing to answer any of are questions. Tammy and Dawn went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was delicious. One of the best premier inn’s we have stayed at. Carl& Helen.

Thank you Premier Inn for a great couple of nights. We experienced warm and excellent hospitality from the welcoming team. Special thanks to Tammy the manager came in on her day off to work in the kitchen as chef, your poached eggs were very tasty! Thank you Dawn for looking after us so well :)

The hotel is in a great location, just out of town. We were pleased they had a fast charging electric point for our car, so that was very convenient. Room was everything you expect from premier inn and clean and comfy bed. Staff friendly and helpful. However, strict on the 3pm check in policy, which is a pain if you arrive early. You have to sump up another ￡15 if you want to get in your room before this (even slightly early) so keep that in mind when travelling distance as it’s quite a late check in. Breakfast fine - all fairly standard, which is kind of the point when booking premier inn. Good place to stay and lots of nice walks in the area.

Really nice hotel, lovely and clean everywhere. Great food. Exceptionally lovely fella on reception, so welcoming and friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay, we stayed for some hiking nearby. Dan was really helpful with prior to our stay. The breakfast team on Sunday morning were exceptionally friendly and made us feel so welcome. Will happily stay again!

What a lovely stay we had at the Matlock premier in we were away for a friend's special birthday.The staff where so helpful and friendly.Rooms where clean and comfortable and we also took advantage of the meal deal which I feel is good value.Breakfast was cooked freshly and veggie options available.The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome

Overnight stay with family while visiting chatsworth house. When arrived to check in, was quick and easy, staff member was great at desk. Staff member Dawn was fantastic, really helpful.Got the kids some squash, us some coffees, very thoughtful. Rooms were great, beds comfy, can’t complain. Went for dinner on night, food was great.Only one chef in kitchen which really slowed down service but nice to see other staff members help out to try and speed up service. Overall staff were great, food was tasty, rooms were good. Would definitely go back.
