  • Guest：My wife and I spent two nights at Tianhua House Hotel and would rate it a solid 4/5. The location by the river is peaceful and quieter than the main area, though it does mean at least a 15-minute easy walk each way to most of the sightseeing spots. Our room was large, well-appointed, and comfortable, although it was missing the advertised bathtub. To their credit, the hotel immediately acknowledged this and refunded us 80 RMB, which we appreciated. The standout positive was the staff: they were very helpful with planning our itinerary, arranging ticket bookings at prices much cheaper than outside, and organising an excellent local guide for just 100 RMB per day – a real bargain. On the downside, the repeated walks back and forth did get a bit tedious, there was no phone reception in the lobby and the Wi?Fi was weak, and the hot water and water pressure were inconsistent. Overall, our stay was OK – not bad, but not amazing either.
