  • Guest：We stayed here for two nights, as a family of four in two bedrooms. The hotel was very small (5 rooms) and quiet with a very attentive team of staff, including Salman who always greeted us with a wide smile. The hotel is very close to the town yet you feel like you are out in the countryside with the amazing views from the outside dining area. Whilst there was an a la carte menu, we also had a lovely 7 dish Sri Lankan curry which was delicious. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.
  • Guest：On our journey in Sri Lanka we have stayed in different types of hotels . Some of them luxurious - some of them cheap. Stone house was a little expensive - but not very expensive. The hotel in itself is located a little outside Kandy . Takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the center. The facilities are good - with a nice garden. The food they serve is banging . They can make exactly what you want and how you want it. The service from the staff was extraordinarily good. The guys managing the hotel went out of their way to help with all problems. It was even better than in the most luxurious hotels. It made us so happy to stay at Stone House. It might be a 4 or 5 star hotel . But the service here is TEN STARS
  • Guest：This was an exceptionally beautiful property that was very quiet, beautiful views and comfortable room. The team were extra accommodating and I would recommend anyone to definitely consider staying.
  • Guest：Was a lovely place to stay tucked up the hillside. Couldn’t complain about the service. We were the only people staying there which, for us, we found hard as the staff were very attentive. There was absolutely nothing wrong with anything, but we prefer a busier place or even somewhere with a couple of guests. We ate there both evenings and the food was great. This is out of kandy so not somewhere to stay if you want a feel for kandy. Overall, lovely stay, just not sure it was for us.
