Ruime kamer,vlak bij het centrum met prima ontbijt voor deze prijs. Maar: Bedden te hard en kussen te leeg,dat is natuurlijk persoonlijk. Hele kleine badkamer, douche spuit alle kanten op en is krap. Geen toiletartikelen aanwezig. Geen schone handdoeken gehad, bedden niet opgemaakt, gordijnen te klein, geen mogelijkheid om iets te eten of drinken na het ontbijt. Uitzicht op de Moesel was er bijna niet vanaf onze kamer. Beetje jammer wel allemaal. Grote voordeel blijft de ligging bij het centrum, maar in januari is bijna alles dicht.

Het voordeel van dit hotel is dat het lekker kortbij het centrum ligt en parkeergelegenheid is. Voor deze prijs een prima ontbijt in een gezellige kamer. De kamer was ruim en schoon. Echter...een héle kleine badkamer, de douche spoot alle kanten op. Bij aankomst stond een halve fles water op het tafeltje in de kamer, was aangebroken en half leeg, de koelkast deed het niet, bedden waren hard en de kussens leeg. Eenmaal terug van een fijne dagtrip verbaasde het mij dat de bedden kennelijk niet opgemaakt worden in dit hotel en dat je geen schone handdoeken krijgt in de ochtend, handdoeken waren oud, muffig en dun. "Comfort"kamer met uitzicht geboekt, echter maar een glimp van de Moesel te zien en van de burcht niks te zien vanaf de hotelkamer. Helaas werd de brug verbouwd en vlak voor het hotel werd ook flink verbouwd, overlast van lawaai vanaf de vroege ochtend en het uitzicht helaas beperkt tot een bouwkraan aan de overkant van de straat. Jammer, maar ik kom hier niet meer terug.

Exceeded expectations with a great location, parking, solid breakfast and spacious rooms. We did choose to upgrade to a larger room with a view which was worth the addition cost as it was very spacious. Location is across the river from City Center which allows you to keep windows open for fresh air with less sounds from the crowds.

My son and I stayed at Hotel Traumblick for 3 nights in April. We had a "classic Mosel view" room, which is the smallest size on the top floor with slanted ceiling. Although the room is small, every inch is well-utilized. Bathroom is compact but not unusual for European hotels. We had no issue with water pressure on the top floor. The room has a mini fridge and water kettle. We have a small balcony with a table and 2 chairs, which we enjoyed sitting out on. I definitely recommend paying extra for the Mosel view, and recommend the larger-sized room (comfortable room) if you want more space. Location-wise, the hotel is located on the quieter side of Cochem just across the bridge. Many hotels are on the busy side right on the main street, and I can imagine they get noisy. Hotel Traumblick is fairly quiet, but you can get to the heart of the town within a 5-min walk across the bridge. From the train station, it is a good 15-min walk, so maybe not the best choice for travelers with heavy luggage. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel but the bus (no.703) runs only 1x/hour. The plus side of being on the other side of the bridge is you get a great view of the town and the castle from the balcony! The staff is great and the breakfast is top-notched. Lots of choices and the breakfast room also looks out to the river. Breakfast starts at 8am however, so if you want an early start it might not work for you. Another huge plus is the hotel offering bikes & e-bikes rental! We haven't seen any bike rental places in the town itself so this is super convenient. They have different sizes of regular bikes along with helmets. If I have to quibble about Hotel Traumblick, I would say the bed sheets are a bit rough and towels a bit thin. But for a 3* hotel for such a good price, good location, and everything else, I can certainly overlook those.

A small old hotel placed opposite the town. We had ordered a large room with view to the river. The hotel seems to be clean and nothing to complain about. The bathroom is large, but I wonder why the shower is so small when the bathroom is so large. The water is not hot enough, and I’m not sure it would not pass test for required temperature out of water tap (50 degrees) The water pressure at fourth floor is really low, so do not use shower and sink at the same time.

We've stayed here before and really liked it. This time was the same. Staff is very friendly, location is very convenient for walking into Cochem proper. Breakfast was good and the rooms were comfortable and quiet. The only issue this time was the parking. All the lots right by the hotel were full so I had to park up the road a ways and that made for loading and unloading rather difficult. But apart from that, it was enjoyable as always and will stay here again when in this area.
