Absolutely beautiful place to stay. We spent time there whilst our house was being decorated and loved everything about it. Peaceful beyond your imagination, great local walks, the lodges are amazing, i believe all have good sized hot tubs, the lodges have everything you need and were spotlessly clean. The owners Jill & Andrew are very accommodating and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure you have everything you need. If we didn’t already live in Devon we would definitely come here every year for a nice peaceful break.

Great stay over Christmas. Well furnished lodge with a welcome treat! Located in lovely countryside, close to beaches and Exeter.

We had a wonderful stay at South View Lodges in No 6 . Great facilities and very stylish decor. Recommend by a friend and she wasn’t wrong it was so quiet and peaceful and to see hubby and brother in law fishing and catching some good size carp was perfect. Recommend the Nobody Inn for Sunday roast and the Ley arms amazing menu and both very close despite very tiny lanes to get there it was worth it . Topsham and Exeter Quay for lovely mooch around shops and cafes and we had a day at Paignton Zoo .The Alpacas are neighbors and Andrew shared his passion for caring for them and letting us feed them such beautiful gentle animals .Hot tub is amazing and I’ve not used one before and lovely to have toweling robes to use .

Absolutely amazing lodge. We stayed in Cedar. Everything catered for. Luxurious bed and furnishings. Jill the host kindly placed disability aids in shower and toilet for my hubby. Scones left for our arrival were super. The surroundings were super. Will definitely be returning. We stayed June 25.

The second time we have stayed at South View Lodges. We have stayed at both Willow & Cedar Lodge. The standard is exceptional in both lodges. The beds are highly comfortable with quality pillows and bedding. We have just spent 10 nights at Cedar Lodge we did not want to leave. The serenity of the views are the perfect getaway to experience relaxation. We will be back soon.

Stayed in number 6 lodge for a few nights. The luxury lodges are in perfect condition and set in a fantastic location. We fished in the middle lake, which was amazing. We caught over 70 specimen carp in 2 days. Lovely people who run it. Would recommend Southview even if you don't fish.

Second time staying at these beautiful lodges, first time in Kingfisher and now in Cedar. Exemplary hosts, beautiful surroundings and 5* lodges - not many places you can visit where you can honestly say everything has been thought about. This visit we booked one of their alpaca experiences and spent a lovely time feeding and meeting the herd. Highly recommend for a peaceful visit and great location for visiting Exeter and the surround area.

We've just returned from a long weekend staying in Cedar Lodge based at the South View Lodges. I cannot recommend this place enough, from the moment we stepped through the door to the moment we departed we felt like we were in heaven. We were welcomed with a bottle of bubbly and a roaring fire. The lodge was immaculate and very modern. Jill came in and welcomed us and answered all the questions we had. She recommended local places to eat and showed us how to use the hot tub and log burner. She invited us to come and visit their alapas too! The weather wasn't on our side thanks to Storm Bert but this didn't take away from our weekebd away, the covered sunken hot tub meant we could still enjoy it despite the awful rain and high winds! It was the perfect excuse to actually relax and enjoy the surroundings whilst in the comfort of the beautiful, warm, and cosy lodge. A small selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate are provided, as well as toilet paper and cleaning products should you need them Highly recommend staying here and we wouldn't hesitate to go back! We also met Jill's husband Andrew who was equally lovely and welcoming. Thank you so much for a weekend we won't forget ??
