This place was amazing, its in the centre of merthyr town near all local amenities. We used it as a base to go to a local party as it was really good value compared to hotels But we will return for a longer stay The studio was warm and cozy with everything you could need. It was spotlessly clean. The weather was awful and we wished we had taken food with us as we had to go out for breakfast. But everything was available to make our own. The bed was comfortable and the shower was brilliant. I left my electric toothbrush at the property and they were really quick to answer my email and have it posted back to me. .

Everything was amazing, only down side was the noise in the apartment above which is more than likely out of your control.

We stayed in Studio 9, Outside In and had an amazing weekend. Loved the way the studio was decorated, it was very cosy and great value for money. A lot of thought has gone into decorating the accomodation and we loved the unique character of the studio. The location is good for visiting the Brecon Beacons and is in the town centre which is very convenient. Self check in was easy and convenient. We have stayed at a different property of James' before, Brynawel, and that was also lovely and a great experience. We appreciated the email from the hosts with recommendations of places in the local area. Would definitely recommend staying at James' Place if you are visiting the Brecon Beacons, you will not be disappointed ??

Lovely studio, but 2 things to address:
1 - the shower is not powerful when the heat is turned up.
2- The bed is 2 singles joined together, it's on wheels, any movement and the bed just slides across the floor, maybe change the wheels to locking wheels, simple fix
But I'd definitely stay again, lovely little studio.
