My friends and I had a lovely night at Amaara Sky! Although we only spent one night at this hotel, we felt comfortable and right at home as soon as we stepped in. We actually happened to be upgraded to the penthouse upon arrival and were shocked at the gorgeous views and amenities that were in the hotel room alone. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, and the food was delicious! The hotel was also very close to Kandy city centre. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable place to come back to after a day of exploring beautiful Kandy.

Stayed one night with friends and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The view over Kandy was beautiful, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The food was delicious, with a nice selection of dishes to choose from. Would happily recommend Amaara Sky to anyone travelling through Kandy.

Amaara Sky Hotel was a great place to stay as it balanced being central with a breath taking view of the city. The rooms were clean, the bed comfy and the staff lovely. 10/10 would stay again

A bit dated but OK. On the side of a hill on a narrow road in a residential area close to town with restricted parking. Friendly & helpful staff. Enjoyed the Sri Lankan option in the A' La Carte menu. No complaints

One of the better hotels in Kandy, location is a bit far but everything else was upto expectations.

Our stay at Amaara Sky Hotel was truly exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, and the rooms were not only beautiful but also spotless and thoughtfully designed. We were captivated by the breathtaking views and the peaceful, serene atmosphere that surrounded us!! Every aspect of our experience was fantastic. The staff displayed genuine hospitality, warmly attending to all our needs with care and professionalism. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway from the hustle and bustle of Colombo.

Amaara Sky Hotel truly exceeded our expectations. The food was incredibly delicious – every single dish was a treat! The service was also outstanding; the staff were so attentive and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. And the rooms, Impeccably clean! It's clear they take great pride in maintaining a high standard. Highly recommend this hotel!

The location is over the hill, it’s a little difficult to get a tuk tuk or car that is willingly to go up to the hotel from city Center, especially at night. From hotel to city Center is about 8 mins of tuk tuk ride. Otherwise the service is great, staff are really friendly, nice hilly view from the balcony, western style breakfast platter with pastries.

Pros: Friendly n helpful staff. Nice nature view. Excellent wifi. Spacious room with balcony.
Cons: Smelly bathroom. Old furniture n fittings. Lack of modern power points. Low water pressure for the shower. Noisy air con. Key hole door. Unmanned front desk at night. Located up on a hill.

A reasonably priced hotel. Staff were helpful and kind. From the main road to the hotel roads are narrow and winding, understandably since Kandy is a hill country city.
