  • Guest：We spent 3 days at Jungle Beach and we had a very relaxing time. There are so many great things about this accommodation. Barbara was both quick and friendly in replying to our emails before arriving. She organised our airport transport for us and a driver to get us to our next location which was much appreciated. The location of Jungle Beach is idyllic on an unspoilt and pretty beach in a a lush and tropical setting. The restaurant and bar are right on the beach front and the food was consistently good. The prawn and mango curry and the seafood platter were exceptional. The staff were all fantastic and an absolute asset to the place, they were really friendly and helpful at all times. It was exactly what we were looking for, a peaceful and chilled out start to our trip. The only negatives were that the room was way too dark and lacked privacy. Check out could have been more efficient (we were left waiting half an hour) and we would have appreciated an itemised bill. We were just shown a single figure in rupees on a piece of paper. However as we do not doubt that Barbara and her team are honest, it was not really a big problem for us. Despite the few things we mentioned that could have been improved on, overall we had a really lovely time and would certainly recommend a stay at Jungle Beach.

Highlights included a stunning sunset walk, a hearty Sri Lankan breakfast, and a rejuvenating spa session. With its serene beach, delicious meals, and tranquil atmosphere, Jungle Beach Camp proved the perfect place to relax and recharge.
  • Guest：Un séjour dépaysant, des chalets confortables au bord de l’océan. Particulièrement original et pittoresque loin des grands Resorts. On se sent entre amis avec un accueil irréprochable. Et en plus on y mange particulièrement bien. Entre séance de Yoga, partie de beach volley et massage, il y a de la place pour une balade le long de la mer avant de boire un verre devant des couchers de soleil incroyables. On vit en osmose avec la nature et quel plaisir d’être bercé la nuit par le bruit des vagues… et oui on est vraiment au bord de la mer. Barbara, Lars et toute l’équipe répondent à vos besoins mais il ne faut pas hésiter à faire la demande. Nous y reviendrons !
  • Guest：It’s hard to list what we liked as we enjoyed the place very much. So in short -location next to the great beach hidden in a forest -small hotel, only 4 bungalows -beds very comfortable -very nice restaurant with possibilities to eat on the beach -all meals just great, menu changes every day You can keep on listing, though I would say the biggest value of this place is it’s owner Barbara who keeps close eye on everything in the hotel, keeping all in order and is very helpful in assisting and negotiating decent prices for transportation, tours and even tuk tuks… knowledge of local market can’t be overrated in this area… Some can say lack of swimming pool, but there’s an ocean 20m away… No walking pavements but the sand is just great, no shoes or flip-flops required.
