Hotel was very nice and tidy, staff was great and food was lovely. Swimming pool was nice and warm aswell

The Woodlands is lovely. It's not a perfect hotel, some of the rooms need a spruce up and ours was directly above the kitchen so our bathroom smelled of cooking for much of the time, but it's a charming place with lots of character and lovely staff.

Room was clean and staff was friendly. Disappointed they charge each guest $7 pounds ti use pool. About $16 Canadian! Also the sell memberships to local residents to use facilities. Guest compete with locals to enjoy the swimming pool hot tub and saunas. Not pleased

I am pleases you found the hotel clean and the staff friendly.Due to the rising costs to run and maintain the facilities, it was either charge a small fee for use, which is a reduced price to non-residents or closure which would have a huge impact on our guests and members. Unlike other hotels we do not include the use of the facilities in our room rates as not all guests make use of the leisure club.

This Hotel is very disappointing for the area! The receptionist had no customer service skills, was miserable, unfriendly and seemed annoyed when I asked her a few questions about size of room and if there was a lift to the top floor. I had to drag a heavy case up three flights of stairs as an older woman with no offer of help from staff. On reaching the start of the second flight, one of the housemaids saw me struggling so picked up case and carried it all the way up to my room luckily. The room was very small with a double bed. It was noisy with no double glazing windows that were hard to push up or down. The hotel needs refurbished and not up to a high standard for the prices they charge for the rooms. Definitely over priced and not good for this type of area in Broughty Ferry, Dundee. I never want to stay in this hotel ever again. Most of the staff are unprofessional and do not go the extra mile for their customers! I will never go back there again in the future. Dreadful experience overall.

Décevant pour un Best Western Assez décevant au regard de l’image que nous nous faisons de la cha?ne Best Western. Le bati nécessite un rafra?chissement. Un mariage se tenant pendant notre séjour les convives monopolisaient le bar très bruyamment. Les cartes d’accès ont du être reprogrammées plusieurs fois. Par ailleurs le service au restaurant est très sommaire.
