We stayed at this hotel 20th September 2025 for 5 nights. The location was ideal and on arrival we had high hopes for the hotel. The first thing we noticed was the parking - nightmare. At check in we were informed that if we wanted a parking space, we would need to pay. We had no choice as you needed to park on site. So this was the first added extra. Then we had to pay for towels and bed linen. Yes, you had to make your own bed on arrival. Second added extra payment. Then taxes. To be honest, we knew we would have to pay this. The appartment was very basic and had seen better days, however, it was VERY clean and functional. The "double" bed wasnt a double bed. Two singles pushed together but the gap was big!! We choose to pay for one evening meal on our first night for ease, and the food was very basic and average. Disappointing to be honest. Breakfast the following morning was again, very average. Cold eggs and lots of flies. But the staff were lovely. Outside pool was great. Very clean and great tempreature. All in all a very average stay

La Limonaia Hotel is in an absolutely fantastic location and the staff are super welcoming and helpful! The views are amazing and you can cross onto the cycle/pedestrian path right in front of La Limonaia for a lovely stroll/bike ride into Limone, or there is a shuttle bus that runs to and from the door of the hotel for a very small fee. There is a big hill to get up to the hotel from the road but that’s to be expected for the area, especially when it has such amazing views. We stayed for five nights and only had to walk up the hill twice because we could park our rental car so close to the block of rooms we were in. The rooms are mostly fantastic, with a space out front to lounge in the sun. The room we were given initially was not ideal (old furniture, not much sunlight, bathroom was a bit dingy) but the staff kindly gave us another room in the same price band which was much nicer and didn’t cost us any extra! Everything was spotless in both rooms and in the communal areas so there was no issue with cleanliness. I think it was just a case of some parts of the hotel needing a little bit of an update. Breakfast was self-service, but there were still plenty of staff around to help if we needed anything. The food was lovely and there were a lot of options. The overall atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming, and it was a nice peaceful stay. I’d also like to reiterate how friendly the staff at La Limonaia are, including those at the reception desk, the bar, the restaurant, the pizzeria, housekeeping etc. They were very patient with me when I tried to use my very limited knowledge of Italian and they spoke fluent English with me when my Italian failed. I am quite a shy person and they made me feel at ease.

Sch?ne Anlage, toller Ausblick. Ansonsten gew?hnungsbedürftig. Terrassen ohne jegliche Abgrenzung. Essen mittelm??ig, Frühstück genauso, nur eine Sorte langweiligem K?se. Ein Tag langweiliges Rührei, ein Tag Spiegelei. Browserfenster ok.

Ho soggiornato per ben due volte in questa struttura e posso dire di essermi sempre trovata benissimo! Vista spettacolare, ottimi servizi, ben pulito e staff cordiale. Una nota di merito a Cristian e Cristina del bar, per professionalità e cordialità, a Nicoletta e colleghi della zona pranzo e a Traian della pizzeria. E che dire...Non c'è il due senza il 3!

Der gro?e Pluspunkt dieses Hotels ist die Lage mit spektakul?rer Aussicht! Wir hatten bereits früher ein Hotel dieser Kette auf der anderen Seeseite gebucht, wo wir sehr zufrieden waren. Man muss sich im Klaren sein, dass es sich dabei um eine preiswertere Kette handelt, und man nicht zu gro?e Erwartungen haben sollte. Wir wollten in diesem Jahr einmal die andere Seeseite bereisen, werden dieses Hotel aber wahrscheinlich nicht wieder nutzen, weil es lange nicht den Charme des anderen besitzt. Wir nutzten die Unterkunft haupts?chlich um Ziele der Umgebung zu erkunden. Das Hotelgel?nde ist mit vielen steilen Treppen versehen, weshalb wir Reisenden, die nicht so gut zu Fu? sind, von einer Buchung dieses Hotels abraten. Aber wer normale k?rperliche Verfassung besitzt, kommt mit dem Treppensteigen gut zurecht. Das Hotel ist schon recht in die Jahre gekommen, und wir empfehlen, die Superior Zimmer zu buchen, da sie über einen gewissen Komfort (z.B. Kühlschrank) verfügen. Das Bad war neu gemacht, aber es fehlten Haken, wo man die nassen Handtücher hinh?ngen konnte. Das Waschbecken war recht schick, aber unpraktisch. Relativ hoch angebracht, dafür innen sehr flach, planschte man sich (und das Badezimmer)beim Waschen total nass. Auch gibt es keine M?glichkeit, den Abfluss zu verschlie?en. Die Zimmer sind bis auf die schmuddeligen Gardinen sauber, die Handtücher werden t?glich gewechselt. Die Ausstattung ist ausreichend, man bekommt sein Gep?ck gut unter. Die Klimaanlage war sehr schwach auf der Brust, und wurde w?hrend unseres Aufenthaltes abgeschaltet. Wir empfehlen auch die Mitnahme von Ohrst?pseln, da die Zimmer sehr hellh?rig sind. Wir hatten nebenan zwei Paare wohnen, die sich nachts st?ndig gegenseitig in ihren Zimmern besuchten, dabei x-mal die Türen schlugen, und auf dem Balkon die Eisenstühle hin und her schoben. Die Balkons bieten keinerlei Privatsph?re, sind nur durch sehr niedrige M?uerchen voneinander abgetrennt. Man sitzt mit seinen Nachbarn in einer Reihe wie die Hühner auf der Stange. Auch kann man vom Balkon aus ins Nachbarzimmer schauen. übergardinen gibt es nicht, nur Rolll?den, die bei Bet?tigung das ganze Hotel aufwecken. Besonders wenn man Raucher ist, m?chte man abends nicht st?ndig die Rolll?den rauf und runter fahren, damit niemand ins Zimmer sehen kann. übrigens ist es verboten, nasse Kleidung auf dem Balkon zu trocknen. Wo denn sonst? Das Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung, halt eher schlicht wie wir es auch aus anderen italienischen Hotels kannten. Wer da gr??ere Auswahl bevorzugt, muss eben ein 5-Sterne-Hotel buchen. Der Kaffee war überraschend gut. Besonders gefiel uns, dass es einen Automaten mit und einen ohne Schaum gab. Das Abendbuffet war eher Mittelma?. Als ersten Gang servierte man Pasta – jeden Abend eine wei?e und eine rote Variante, die sich in der Geschmacksneutralit?t nicht voneinander unterschieden. Alles andere gab es am Buffet. My family and I stayed for 11 days at this hotel complex in July in one of the self catering apartments. The walk up to the apartment definitely requires energy however the view at the top is worth it. The view from the balcony is unforgettable. By far the best thing about this hotel is the staff. Stefan the mini bus driver is incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the area. Carlotta answered all of my pre-arrival questions with patience and professionalism. Alina in the pizzeria was exceptionally professional, hard-working and kind. We had the most wonderful 11 days. The buffet is a very good deal. The swimming pool is impeccably clean. There is a lovely walk down to Limone sul Garda (about 20 minutes) which I would highly recommend. The shuttle bus to the centre of town is also very useful. If you are a family looking for a self catering apartment in a lovely hotel in Lake Garda, look no further! This is the place for you. Thank you to all of the staff for a wonderful stay. Nous avons passé de très belle vacances. Tout étais niquel, les chambres, la nourriture, les chambres,.. mais surtout le personnel! Adorables, serviables, pas de mots pour les décrire!! Au top du top!! Le point fort: la navette de minibus, la vue de la chambre, le buffet petit déjeuner et souper. Petite remarque, un petit frigo serait le bienvenu?? Mais malgrés tout, nous reviendrons les yeux fermé ??

Also der Ausblick ist Atemberaubend das ist aber auch alles. Wer auf Ausstattung , Komfort , Saisonarbeiter , und Massentourismus kein Wert legt, der ist hier genau richtig aufgehoben. Am Poll macht jeder was es will null Respekt gegenüber andere , Kinder einfach nur respektloses verhalten am Pool, wir waren zum ersten mal aber auch das letzte Mal in diesem Hotel.

Questa struttura ( molto grande) fa parte della catena Chincherini che gestisce anche altri hotel sul lago di Garda in cui siamo stati ( hotel du parc ed hotel palme e suite) e anche questa struttura come le altre già visitate necessiterebbe di manutenzione e ammodernamento. La posizione è defilata rispetto a Limone ma la vista è eccezionale. Posto non adatto a chi ha difficoltà motorie perché si tratta di una struttura “ terrazzata” ( appunto come una limonaia) e se si vuole andare in centro a piedi occorre mettere in conto tanti scalini ed una camminata di circa un paio di km. Per chi non ama ( o non può) camminare è però presente un servizio navetta a pagamento. Il wi fi gratuito è presente solo in alcune zone della struttura ( bar e ricevimento) La camera era ampia, semplice e molto pulita, aria condizionata ben funzionante, il bagno grande e recentemente ristrutturato, così come gli infissi e le tapparelle automatizzate. Nel “ villaggio” è presente anche un piccolo market ed una pizzeria, due piscine ( interna ed esterna), zona benessere con palestra che però non abbiamo visitato. Ci sono anche parcheggi coperti terrazzati. Le parti comuni e gli esterni avrebbero bisogno di manutenzione e ristrutturazione. Buon rapporto qualità- prezzo, cibo molto semplice e “ basico”.
