Loved this place,outstanding hospitality,great food and perfect spot for exploring. Hosts were absolutely fab,lots of knowledge on Sri Lanka. Rooms lovely and spacious.highly recommended. Try the egg sandwich,?? Lots of trip bookable to safari,balloon ride ,tik tuk available,??

Brief overnight stay so my comments are narrow. Comfortable bed with mosquito netting meant no buzzing to interrupt sleep, except for occasional monkeys on the roof, which weren't aproblem after midnight. Bathroom facilities were good. Got my worst ever coffee in my 50 years of international travelling at breakfast, and worst roti while in Sri Lanka for the week, and as breakfast was an extra cost I would suggest you go elsewhere. My room and several in the section in my wing experienced constant power failures - I assume a fuse kept tripping - so I had no electricity from around 9PM until 5am when I wandered downstairs in the dark to eventually find someone who got the power back on. Service here was nowhere up to standard. There was nobody at reception when I arrived or left, and nobody in the kitchen at breakfast time which I was assured commenced at 6.30AM. My Daughter stayed at Palitha up the same road and had a wonderful homestay with attentive and helpful hosts who actually collected me twice for free, taking us both to Lion Rock and later to a local restaurant. I didn't get an opportunity to use the pool or enjoy my balcony due to my very short stay. If all you need is a good bed and bathroom to enjoy your sleep etc., then this place is OK. If you want more than that, I would look elsewhere.

We had an amazing stay at Sigiriya Heritage Villa. The staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating to all of our needs. Breakfast was yummy too. This is a great budget hotel. We had a driver so location was not an issue but it’s walkable to several restaurants and the hotel serves dinner as well.

Super h?tel familial avec une piscine très sympa. Les patrons sont très gentils et accueillants. La n ourriture est excellente et la famille est très sympathique. Les chambres sont spacieuses et le service de laundry est très bien. Les singes s'invitent parfois au petit-déjeuner !!!

This hotel was the biggest surprise. We were trying to book a stay and all the other locations were full, and we landed here. The service was delightful, with family values strong with the hosts. The food was authentic, and taste was amazing. The room and hospitality, was clean, and detailed. They made every effort to make our stay delightful and enjoyable. We enjoyed our time and would recommend if you are looking for a place little outside the hustle of hotel stays!

Excellent accueil dans cet h?tel idéalement situé à quelques kilomètres du rocher. Les propriétaires sont toujours souriants et disponibles du matin au soir! Notre petit déjeuner nous attendait en rentrant de safari à 11h alors que normalement il n’est servi que jusqu a 9h. La cuisine du restaurant est excellente … la piscine est bien agréable en fin de journée (serviettes fournies) … le tout pour un rapport qualité/prix imbattable!!!!

We had the deluxe room with the view of Lion’s rock! Truly amazing experience to wake up and look at of the window and see such beauty! The hotel is only a 15 minute walk from Lion’s rock. Room was very clean and facilities were great. There is a really nice swimming pool available and also a restaurant which serves lovely food. The service received was truly excellent and the hosts were always so happy to help.

I had a great time at Sigiri Heritage Villa. The staff is so nice, welcoming, and very helpful. The room was clean, there is a great pool outside and they organize you nice Safaris ! I highly recommend it !

The hotel is run by a kind owner. We had a nice room with nice balcony, we had a swim in the pool and a fine dinner. We went to visit Lion Rock early in the morning and after that had a great breakfast back at the hotel.
